Heyas,I'm glad I got these endmills. Working with hard woods and some aluminum, they are holding up quite well and cost a fraction of the competitions equivalent. Gotta love that!Even though the geometry is designed for aluminum, they do seem to work really well with some harder woods- I've used them on desert ironwood, snakewood and african blackwood- performed beautifully!

A brand new endmill should provide a smooth edge face. This does not. While it is sharp and cuts well, it does not provide a uniform surface across the depth of cut.

I typically use 2 flute bits. Thought I would try this 3 flute. I like it, seems to leave a cleaner edge that a 2 flute. Have not tried to push it at high speed. I have an aluminum project coming up and am excited to see it work on aluminum.
