These are advertised for the Masterbuilt smokers/grills/griddles, and they function great and are inexpensive. The silicone covers are also a big improvement over the factory probes. My only issue is that the silicone covers make the probes large enough that it becomes difficult to pull thru the hole in the smoker once you have a few in there.I’d still buy them again and if the silicone covers become an issue, I’ll just cut them off and use them like the stock probes.

These probes worked perfectly with my MasterBuilt smoker! I liked that they were colored, makes to very easy to identify them in the app!

My original 800 only came with one heat probe sensor. It was great to get these. The clips do not fit my grating, but the sensors work none the less..

The original probe that came with the Master Built was a bit wimpie, these are solid and as I check the temperature with my hand held probe the temps align. Good product.

Yeah this product was not good. Every probe would read a different temperature even though we tested it in a cup of water that was the same temperature. Some probes were more than 15° off each other. I’m sure there are better options out there.

These work great when first using them. I got my set about 10 months ago and already on my last one. I do smoke a lot but it's not like a daily thing by no means. Christmas Eve, I threw on a rib roast. I put in the probe in said chunk of meat that was still in the 50–60-degree range. Almost immediately temp was showing over 110 degrees internal. This is how it's happened every time they have failed, never too low, always extremely high. I put in my last one and it was reading perfect 50s. Now I need more. I am hesitant on buying these again, but I may. Will definitely research others before I decide. Hope this helps others decide. Oh yes, also, I don't let the lid lay on the cable. I run mine thru the provided hole on the side of my Masterbuilt Gravity series 1050. They don't get cut, crimped or crushed this way. So no, that wouldn't be the problems I've had with these.

1 probe has failed within a month of purchase. The probe consistently returns a temperature of 160 degrees regardless of the meat temperature.Update - make that 2 down only 2 months in.
