Nice to have both meat temperature and air temperature. Letters are big and bright. Unit is magnetic and easy to hang on oven.

The timer alarm is loud enough, but the temperature alarm is much fainter and difficult for me to hear. I really like this monitor, but the temperature alarm is so faint that it is very hard for me to hear unless I am very close to it and there is no ambient noise. The only other minor complaint is that the buttons must be pressed very hard. This results in the necessity to hold the device with one hand while pressing buttons with the other. This necessitates putting down anything one is holding to operate the device. Other than these two minor complaints this is a very solidly made device with just the right number of features!

I have a new oven and want to ensure temp and my oven doesn't have a digital readout. I'm pleased with this thermometer's readout and my oven's dial is a few degrees off so I'll be adjusting and learning based on this thermometers readout so my baked foods come out right.

I use a digital temp probe every day to make coffee, because I’m an Aeropress dork, and I’ve gone through 4-5 over the years. All previous probes have had obvious and annoying flaws, but this one gets everything right except one minor thing: it’s a little hard to read the LCD screen from certain angles. Similar devices had wimpy magnets, inaccurate probes, terrible screens, alarms that would keep coming back on, and other fatal flaws. This one solves all those issues.

I have Lavatools Javelin Pro Duo Instant read, and I love it, so I decided to pick up a pair of Elements. They worked great for about a week, then the probe on the first one failed. Sneakily though, it didn’t die, it just started reading 10-20 degrees lower than its companion. I contacted customer service in March, they were supposed to send a return envelope, then COVID shut everything down and that was the end of our communication. I certainly can’t blame them for their lack of response during that time, even though they still managed to send out marketing emails... Anyway, a few weeks after the first probe failed the second probe failed in much the same manner. I was cooking steaks, closely monitoring the temperature, and all of the sudden the temp dropped from 120 degrees to below 100. A quick stick with my instant read confirmed that the probe was way off.I contacted customer service again in May, and revived no response. Then again in July, and still no response. So what I have are two worthless thermometers that look nice, but I’m wishing I hadn’t spent the money on. I should have just bought Thermoworks from the beginning.

I bought this last year for Thanksgiving when the overpriced wireless one I had lost contact with both probes and couldn't reconnect. I also used it for Christmas. I wanted one that simply read the temps, no picking protein type or timing or any crap, just a thermometer, and this works that way by default. I just stuck it in the turkey and put it in the oven and both readings (food and ambient) worked.I can't really attest to the accuracy, but it seemed relatively close. One or both of this and my oven are off, as they read different numbers, but I don't know which at this point. They weren't off by much, though. My only concern, which seems to happen with all of these types of thermometers, is that the probes break or the wire breaks or whatever--they are too fragile. I haven't seen this yet with this item so hopefully it holds up for more holidays. Fortunately, the probe is removable and should be easy to replace, if there are reasonably-priced replacements.

This works perfectly as a dual thermometer, measuring the heat of the oven and the heat at the tip of the probe simultaneously. The oven reading is averaged over a minute or two, so you don't see the huge swings from air circulating that happens with some other thermometers; the probe tip temperature registers immediately (within a few seconds). The temperature alarm settings and timer controls are not hard to figure out, but not as intuitive as they could be.An unexpected feature is the prediction of when the probe will reach the high temperature, which is more accurate than I would have expected and has helped me to plan multiple courses more accurately.Overall, very happy with this thermometer.

Works great but bad problems with the cable. It is not strong enough and can be damaged. But take care and it b works fine.

Bought this due to reviews on Amazon and on Redflagdeals. Can't speak to the accuracy as I don't even know how I would test it, but assuming it's accurate, it's great. It's easy to use and figure out.

Not worth it, it de calibrated in 2 months with just a few uses. It seemed very useful and with a lot of features but it doesn’t work anymore.

It shows exactly what the oven temps are.The shipping was extra fast and appreciated.
