This mat was purchased so a lift could roll on carpet smoothly. The weight of the patient was almost impossible to move and this was the answer

This came rolled, and because of the cold weather, took a long time to unroll. No problems with it, and works great.

Material is not as sturdy as our old one. Wasn't sure we were able to decipher the thickness. We will live with it, but probably will wear out faster because of the thickness. Rolling the chair easily over the mat. It sinks as you sit, so when you are to move you have to work harder to get out of the dip the wheel made.

Update:months later still not fully flat. And is actually soft. Wheels get stuck. Also the round spikes that are supposed to keep it in place do nothing. Horrible purchase. Should of never ordered this🤦It's still not completely flat but I got it working. Like others gave said it seems thick but not great on carpet. Wheels sink in with just the chair's weight on it. It does seem to move. It's not a good buy. I would not half bought this if I knew what I know now.

I had to soak it in HOT water in the tub for a half hour, it finally unrolled and we t flat. Otherwise working as it should for the desk chair moving g on the carpet.

What a great mat! I wanted the largest mat I could get at a reasonable price to accommodate my computer table with our regular desk (they sit at a right angle to each other. This mat did the trick. I was surprised when it arrived rolled up as I (for some reason) thought it would be shipped flat. In order to roll it out my husband fit the lip on the carpeting and then had to sit on it and roll it out with his butt! He's 6 ft 1in and weighs about 185 and he said he had a hard time with it but he got it. Now that we've been using the mat below the office chairs, it's nice and flat and has finally settled into the carpet. Great buy but have someone's good butt to help get it rolled out! We had a good laugh over that, by the way
