This works okay for my office chair with rollers, but it took forever to get it setup. It comes rolled, and no matter how much heat we added with a bowdryer or a heat gun, the dang thing just did not want to stay flat! We finally got it flat, and it does seem to be protecting our new carpet well, but it does indent quite a bit wherever the rollers are for the chair. I wonder how long it will hold up, but I hope that it will hold up for a long time, because I do not want to have to flatten another one of these!

I cannot say what I really think. Amazon would likely take it off. But this is the biggest piece of **** I've ever bought off Amazon. My chair makes a dimple in the mat so it does not roll. If I want to move my chair I have to get up and roll it. At some point I'm going to burn it and find something else. I get so mad every time I try and roll around on it. Folks, this is not rocket science, no moving parts. Just a mat. If you want to buy a gift for someone you HATE, get them this.

If you plan on getting these mats for at-home use, make sure your carpet is not too soft. I think these are meant for the thin, stiff carpet seen in office buildings, not the plush kinds found in homes. While the mat stays put, the lack of sturdiness means that the mat sort of ripples where the spikes are and flexes where the wheels of our chairs are. This makes rolling over it still fairly difficult. Ultimately I think that this is just because it is not actually made for our kind of carpet, so I didn't want to rate too low. Just be aware if you are purchasing for home office use.

Bought the 3 pack, thinking this would take care of my need for chair mat under my small office reception area -- on thin commercial carpet. Well, the mats don't slide/shift on the carpet -- but rolling around on top of mat with the chair, is like rolling over "cobblestone" surface -- due to the many bumps that are present, due to the small teeth that are to sink into the carpet. Maybe if the carpet was a little deeper, this one aspect would be better. Yet, I can say with confidence, that these mats do not have as sturdy / thick of plastic matting, to make a consistent and smooth roll for an office chair - as we are looking for. I will be returning them.
