What a great replacement for those plastic / nylon chair mats which needed to be replaced frequently. The chair rolls much easier on this glass chair mat, way less effort. Packaging was excellent. Be careful as glass mats are quite heavy and you really another person to help placing it. This mat will last for years! The quality of the glass is excellent.

I like the glass mat very much. However, the styrofoam packaging cushion was terribly messy. It easily broke apart in unboxing the glass and small pieces of styrofoam went flying everywhere and stuck to everything. It was a terrible mess even though I tried to carefully get it out of the house. I expect to find styrofoam particles for years. Other than that, the glass mat is very nice. It’s thick, clear and very durable. My office chair flies over it like ice. I’m glad I bought it. Recommend! Unpack outside in the yard to keep the styrofoam “snow†out of your home and garage!

Had to move my office to another room that had carpet. I looked for something that was sleek and didn’t put odd holes in my carpet. The tempered glass was perfect. Very clean looking, perfect size for my desk and chair. Seems durable despite being glass. And honestly the cost was worth it. You definitely need help getting it up stairs because the box is large and cumbersome. 10/10 recommend.

Okay, I might be a little biased here, so bear with me.First off, this glass chair mat was AWESOME! It looked beautiful and quickly became my favorite thing in my office. However, within two months, it shattered when I somehow managed to flex it. While that’s expected with tempered glass, I didn’t feel like I flexed it much, but apparently, it was enough. Cleaning it up took about 30 minutes with a flat shovel.The mat was shipped well and packaged beautifully. It was crystal clear, and even though my Secretlabs chair’s skateboard wheels left marks on it, I didn’t mind. I’ve since switched to a plastic mat that suits my needs better.This mat might be more appropriate for use on low-pile carpet rather than medium to high-pile carpet.So, to be fair, it’s a great product—looks nice and is well-priced. Would I buy it again? Probably not. There are other products out there that fit the need without the risk and are just as competitively priced.

Mat actually arrived a day early. Unpacking is not easy but not hard either as the packaging was very sturdy cardboard and was taped VERY well, which took time to cut due to size and weight. Once the package was open the packing styrofoam which sandwiched the mat was very fragile and broke very easily causing a large amount of highly static charged pieces of foam to spread out everywhere. Floors were not a problem but the the little pieces of charged foam stuck to your clothes and hands like glue and were almost impossible to remove. Had the wife close by with a small vacuum which did the trick of getting the small pieces off my body and clothes. Once the unpack was done it was easy to place the mat. The difference between this mat and the old plastic one I was using is unbelievable, I have to watch myself or I roll off the mat without thinking as there is no wheel resistance at all like on the old plastic mat.

I have this over carpet and I have to adjust it periodically. Well worth the money. I got the grey tinted and it looks so good on my grey carpet
