The box and the outlet are both rugged and well made. Solid connections for the wiring. Works great for my EV charger.

This a a very sturdy unit, made of heavy gauge metal. I ran the power and installed this box in an hour or so. Very easy to install. Using this type of 50 amp plug gives a much better look and fit than others I’ve seen. Finally note, this is a permanent attachment…. There are others listed that are temporary and shouldn’t be used for a more permanent application.

We converted from gas to electric jet skis this summer, and having a 220V charger drops our charging time from overnight to 3 hours. The electric box went on easily with convenient mounting holes and easy-to-tighten wire screws in the 14-50 receptacle. It works well, and does not seem to get hot during charging.

installed a EV car charger at our rental property. seems really well made, only problem I had was I used the back side knock out and running the 6/3 through the back does not leave much room when securing the receptacle. There is plenty more room if you run the feed in from the bottom.

Box is well made. Used this to hook up a 50 amp generator for the house in case of a power failure. Easy to hook up the electric lines with the compression screws that hold the wire.
