So far, so good. Fingerprint reader seems to work good, hasn't failed or allowed the safe to open when using a finger that is not programmed. Like that there are 3 separate options for opening the safe. Like that the door not only has pins on the side, but also on the top and bottom. Fits fairly flush to the wall, sticks out maybe an inch or so but still can be concealed by hanging a wall mirror or picture over it (with some mods to the mounting for the mirror or picture). This is not a thick metal safe so most likely is not fireproof and it may be possible that someone could pry the door open if they came prepared with a large crowbar or reciprocal saw and worked at it Overall for the price, it's great for keeping items secure, and if concealed properly, nobody will even know it is there.

Packaging was good, arrived safe. I have had these types of cheap wall 'safes' before, and this one is no different. Mostly to store stuff up out of the way. The combination settings won't work despite 10/12 tries. Tried to look up customer service to figure out how to do it, and no contact # or email came with the product, and on Amazon Product Support the wall safe I bought isn't even listed. So...fine for storage, but the locking mechanism is useless. Don't buy this thing. I hope somebody at Amazon reads this and provides a phone # or email address to find out how to get the combination mechanism to work.

This safe is OK product, easy to install. Depth of the safe is not 3.93†but 4.25†and if your wall is standard 2x4 stud with 0.5†drywall, safe will not be flush with the wall!! It will stick out .25†plus molding that is .75â€.This is esthetic issue mostly; in my case it was operational issue as well since I have sliding door going over and I need to adjust the door now. Also 1/4†gap around the safe may represent perfect vermin harborage area! Shooting from the hip for measurements of these products is not cool; they should give us exact measurements because returning safe after delivery or after the wall is cut is not an easy thing!

This safe came and was missing the mounting hardware for the shelves and did not have instructions for how to set up your passcode. Tried the product support but found no way to email the seller, very disappointed as now the keypad is useless. The lock itself feels flimsy and I worry about the long term reliability of this safe.
