There's been many of projects where I was fascinating a bolt and couldn't find a nut that fit. As with all assortments... it is investing in a future need. This assortment is handy to have for when you need a nut of a variety of sizes and seem well made, case is workable. My only concern is that the larger sizes have very few - the largest only numbering two. If missing a single nut for something no problem... but if needing a few more might be still wanting for more to finish a project. Before ordering just confirm the sizes that are most useful or needed and weigh that against this versus other options.

This is a good assortment of SAE sized nuts. The small plastic container is handy, especially the labeling of the different sizes. In the set I received, two of the 3/8-16 nuts were missing. I only received five, but the label says there should be seven. The two missing nuts might not have fit in the plastic container. Also, one of the 1/4-20 nuts was in the wrong compartment, possibly because it barely fit in the right compartment. The nuts thread on the corresponding bolts properly as expected. These nuts are made out of a stainless steel that is non-magnetic.

Finally...somebody has their act together in putting this hardware kit together. It has a very nice assortment of SAE nuts which will fit most of my items. I like the compact size and the holder which is very handy to just put in my toolbox when I go to the project...now I don't have to make multiple trips to get the exact nut needed. Well done !
