Product Description

 Fuel Pump Driver Module

What is it?

  • The fuel pump drive or driver module can control the voltage delivered to the vehicle's fuel pump. By controlling the voltage, the fuel pump drive module maintains optimum fuel pressure throughout the operating range and delivers fuel to the engine. It is the most common component to fail in computerized diesel engines.

Never even realize that this part was a thing but it came with all the parts I needed in order to fasten it to the body of my car because the original bolt holes were rusted out but this manufacturer thought well ahead and sent other boats for other bolt patterns to be able to fasten it in its position Great quality great price easy to install and very functional

I bought this for my 2006 Lincoln Navigator. It looks and fits like the factory product, and on this vehicle, it is pretty easy to swap out. It didn't fix my issue, as I guess I need a fuel pump replacement, but it hasn't given me issues yet. Will update the review if that changes. The included spacers to help prevent future corrosion issues is a really nice touch, especially for the price of the entire purchase.

Got it for our 2007 F150 and it did the job. Truck was not starting and it finally did. Easy to install and works great.

Can't comment on longevity but just installed and the FPDM is working as expected. Actually, despite the original having rotted apart and PCB completely exposed it actually hadn't failed (yet). It was actually the chassis ground lead that pigtails off the same harness that had failed. Replaced the eyelet and attached it to the post screws included with this kit. and truck fired right up.Almost condemned the new module before realizing it was just a bad ground. Still needed replacing anyway though since original was in pieces.

I own a 2004 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L Triton that has always had a sporadic slight hesitation on acceleration since I bought it used. From my decades of mechanic knowledge, I thought it was fuel related but never could pin it down. The engine bit the dust because of timing chain and I changed just about everything when I replaced the motor. Filters, plugs, coil packs, and cleaned injectors. Motor ran good but still had that hesitation in it. I replaced the fuel rail pressure regulator , nothing changed. I looked on youtube and I found a person talking about this fuel pump driver module. It is right about the spare tire in the rear axle area. I discovered what others have found, due to being exposed to road elements, the cast body of the module corrodes and affects the computer board on the inside. For $21 , it fixed all the acceleration problems I was having, now my F150 runs like a healthy 8 cylinder with plenty of acceleration! So, if you are having hard start, hesitation on acceleration or fail to start problems, consider buying this very affordable module to see if it is your problem. Easy to replace, drop the spare tire, push in on electrical connector and pull that loose. Then use an 8mm socket on 1/4 ratchet to remove the two bolts. If they are hard to turn, take it slow. Turn till they get tight, spray something like PB Blaster around bolts, retighten to work lube in threads, then start loosening again. Take your time, you dont want to break them off in the frame. They will come out if you take your time . I wouldnt use the new bolts that come with the new one. Just clean and lube your old ones.

Been chasing a lean code on my 06 F350 with the 3v 5.4 and ended up being this module located on the rear frame support. Code reader could not find the problem and ended up changing many parts, cops, fuel injectors, maf, ect. This little guy did the trick. Running smooth again.
