This door is very sturdy! The door itself was breeze to assemble but the track system takes a little time which was to be expected. Unit as a whole is solid. Highly recommend!

Heavy duty door and hardware. Easy to read instructions. Packaged well with no damage or missing components. Took about 30 minutes to put together and finished product looks great. Definitely use a header board- not included. Purchased a pre-finished one at Lowe’s for around $10 and cut to size. Comparable barn door elsewhere is over $500 more expensive.

Smooth as silk and looks fantastic - I am extremely satisfied with the final fit and finish.Keep in mind that if you have drywall you will need to install a header board (not included) and hang the barn door from it instead of attaching directly to drywall. The header board can be any board long enough to support the rails. I used a piece of baseboard left over from a previous project - it was not a perfect fit but you would never notice. You have to do this because the barn door hardware bolts do not align with the studs in your walls, so you need a board to attach them to. Simply screw the header board into your wall's studs. Now you can attach the barn door hardware to the header without worrying about studs.Easy stuff.

I love this barn door. It was very easy to install. The directions are easy to follow and the video is also extremely useful. Our doorway entry is only 80†tall, so we got the 84†tall door and cut 3†off the bottom so it’s 81†and it covers the door completely. We had to cut it down, because there wasn’t enough room above the door to install it at 84â€. The directions say to leave 6†above the center rail hole, but we only had enough room for 5†and we had plenty of room to lift the door up onto the rail. Honestly, 4†would probably have been enough room-for those of you with not a lot of room above the rail. The finish is flawless and wipes off nicely. The glide is smooth. We used the bottom glider that attaches to the wall. We just cut off a little piece of the shoe trim and it fit perfectly. I have provided a picture of the glider in my review. I highly recommend this door. We had a professional estimate to have a door custom made and installed, and the quote was $3000! So this door is a real steal for under $300!
