dial indicator does not fit in sled bar. Either the hole diameter in the sled bar is too small or the adapter on the stem of the dial inticator is to large.

I'm a big fan of this gauge. Measuring against gap gauges, it is highly accurate. I like the weight of the block. It is heavy and stable. It feels solid and well made. There are no rattling parts. This is a great tool.

Overall, I am pleased with this bore gauge. The gauge has that well made feel to it, not like a cheap toy. The bar is flat and has a good finish to it. The gauge fits in the bar nicely. The included case is your typical blown plastic case and everything fits nicely. The price was inline with similar bore gauges and I feel it was appropriately priced, I do like less expensive but I feel the quality and price are well matched. I would buy this set again.
