This product worked exactly as it was supposed to. Easy and safe to use both for you and the snake. Hardest part will be catching the snake, but that is a human thing and has nothing to do with this equipment. If you have snakes around, good tool to have. And you could use it for other things as well.

When put together is feels sturdy and well built. I just have one issue. The lock for the jaws when you have to use it, it seems that you have to squeeze a lot before you can lock on the next position which means that whatever you are holding in the jaws you would have to squeeze it too much to the point of hurting whatever you are holding in the jaws. Let's hope I never have to find out if that is true.

I wish I had ordered this product 4 months ago. I was in my front yard and I overturned a stone and saw a copperhead snake curled up in a ball. It was chilly out and he was obviously sleeping. I grabbed a nearby stick and tried to pin it to the ground to kill it, but it squirmed away and disappeared into the underbrush. I still freak out whenever I get near that stone.This item is long, has a strong grip, and the jaws are serrated for a better grip, but they are not sharp for those who want to catch and release. My only negative comments are the instructions and the locking mechanism.The grabber comes in three pieces and the first two go together with no problem, but the third wouldn't screw together because of a piece of plastic preventing it. The instructions say to "pull out all clamp tubes" to get it to go together. That sounded to me like there was something I needed to pull out of the last piece (the clamp tubes) and I spent far too much time trying to get that plastic piece out of the metal tube. I finally figured out that what it meant was to pull out ON the clamp tube, which moved the interfering plastic out of the way.There's a lock that you can use so that you don't have to constantly hold it shut, but when you engage it it releases quite a bit of tension and anything you are holding onto would be released. I don't see the point of this feature and seems to be a bit of bad/wasted engineering.Overall, I love having this item. We have a lot of snakes in our area and I hate all of them. I was told that a poisonous snake like a copperhead or rattler will always return no matter how far you release them from your home so they must die, but the others that get near my home will be easily caught and released by this device.

Product arrived much better than expected for price. I was honestly shocked how good the quality is. I am absolutely terrified of snacks but the length on this product gives me reassurance. Customer service reached out to make sure everything was as expected and no issues. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with product and customer service!! Unbelievable price for the product, buy it and you won’t regret!

It is terrible, I am not able to get it fully connected and the grib handle does not work, it is a waste of my money and I hope they refund me!!

Great product - I've already caught 2 anacondas, a Kimodo dragon, and 3 porch pirates without having to get too close.

Very easy to put together and seems to work like it should. So far it’s been a deterrent since we’ve not seen a snake since it arrived.
