Great set of bits. Lubricating with water while drilling is important. I was able to drill holes carefully and precisely. No damage to the tile and drilled the holes in no time.

These came in a decent roll up canvas bag, each bit in a plastic sleeve. I had a little difficulty removing them from the sleeve, but once I did, I quickly realized why. These are incredibly sticky. There is something on these bits that causes them to stick to your hand like it was tar. Worse, soap doesn't wash it off, you need something more. They need to be cleaned with something like acetone or mineral spirits first then wiped with some lubricant. Yes, they'll work without doing that, but whatever it is that's on it creates friction and resistance. They're decent once you do that, but nothing special. Sharp enough, but nothing noteworthy. I don't know why strange fractions are used for the shaft size (i.e. 2/5 for the largest), but that equates to .4 inches, or slightly less than a half inch. Make sure you have a chuck large enough for them. Overall, they're OK, but nothing that special. I'm mildly disappointed that these are really only good for DIY type stuff and not true woodworking.

This is a decent auger bit set overall. The pouch it comes with is nice, and having the bit sizes printed on it is handy. The bits come in plastic sleeves with a cosmoline-like coating to protect them. However, the 7/8-inch bit I received has several small chips on the edges of the flutes, which is disappointing and should have been caught during quality control. I don't think it will affect the drilling performance too much, but it's still a bit of a letdown. The other bits appear to be in perfect condition.

I needed longer bits for a project I was working on. I used 2 of the bits which made my job much easier. At this very reasonable price they are highly recommended.

I had no problem with the bits and the length of the bits were just right. I didn't need to add an extender.
