This is a reasonably priced ice auger. Took it out for a test run and cuts like butter. Easg to use Instruction manual very specific on battery power requirements on my drill which I found very important.

I've been able to use on 1 outing and drilled several holes in 10" of ice with no issues. Light wait and goes through the ice with no problem.

My wife bought me this for Christmas and I immediately took it to the lake the following day. It works great with my Milwaukee cordless drill. I caught a trout my first time ice fishing and this auger made the hole for me in seconds. FYI if you buy this, there's metal blades at the very end and they sell replacements online and at most sporting good stores for fairly cheap. It's lighter than a gas powered and less energy intensive than a hand powered auger. The E auger really is the best of the three options for ice fishing.

Just got my 8 inch out for the first time. Everything is as advertised. It’s very sharp and seems pretty durable so far. I’ve always used a hand auger so this was a huge upgrade. I drilled at least 20 holes without breaking a sweat. It also didn’t come out of my drill once I made sure it was tight. The drill I have also has a handle that can be screwed on which was a good bonus.

This is a very well made product, and gets 5 stars from me. My Milwaukee older m18 (non fuel) was not up to the task. Several screws popped loose and I cannot reattach them. Replaced with a new fuel m18 today and it’s drilling holes lightning fast!

This over performed in my opinion.Sharp out of the box. Light weight which makes it so nice for transport. We used a M18 Milwaukee drill. Not brushless and it drilled 5 holes easily on one battery. A brushless drill would do even better. Super impressive and I highly recommend it

2 different drills one on a 5 amp battery and one on a 6amp battery could not make a hole they would both die out at around 2 inches in the ice, angles of the blades seem to be the problem definitely wont be buying again...
