super easy to install, fits well and works perfectly, it sounds just a little bit louder than the OG part but at this price point its worth it

My girlfriend was hearing a loud noise every time she locked her car (2018 Honda Civic). Turns out it was because this part (the original) went bad. Found this replacement on Amazon and looked up the install on YouTube and followed along. Easy install. Fixed the problem. Haven’t had any issues and it’s been months.

Was skeptical but it works perfect! Solid build quality, fit perfectly on my 4D 2016 Civic. Replaced after the existing piece would make a loud buzzing noise when car locks, this part was the exact fit and now works like a charm. Zero noise problems, gas door pops open and close as it should!

I’ve had to replace this part twice on my Honda already. The last one I ordered was noisy and only lasted about a year. I installed this one few weeks ago (very easy by the way, took less than 10 minutes), and so far I’ve had no issues. Also super quiet compared to the other replacement.

Bought this one year ago , works great and easy install. Dealer wanted to charge hundreds dollars.

very disappointed in this part. it stopped working 1 day after being installed. i wasn’t able to open up my gas tank even with the car being unlocked. stick to honda oem parts and not the cheap ones.

My wife's Honda Civics gas door latch started to not work properly. I looked into the replacement at the dealership and found it very expensive. I ordered this one and watched a YouTube video. I had it changed in about 10 minutes. Some of the videos have you remove the tire and wheel well. This is not necessary. Simply go into the trunk and find the emergency release cable, tie a string on it then open the gas door and pry the old one out, unplug it. Then attach the string to the new emergency cable, plug in the wires. Then go into the trunk and pull the new cable through and hook it to the attachment point. Then put the locking unit in place by putting the top in first then shaping in the bottom. Very easy.
