Able to put on a 24" framing square and get nice edge to keep the square at 90 degree from edge, like a carpenters square. Great for straight edge for cutting with saw.

I do use a framing square frequently with various woodworking projects and have always hated having to hang it over the edge. This thing does hold it up for you.

This is what I've been looking for to use on my 2ft long Carpenters Square in my garage/shop. There has been way too many times when I'm trying to SQ up an edge and the small end of my SQ flops around and I wish I hand a 3rd hand. Just tighten the fence to your Carpenter SQ (adjust left or right where you want it on the short end of the SQ) tighten down the "knurled" screws and you are off & running !! I give it a real true 4.5 star rating ONLY due the fact, once on, of course it can hang on the wall like my. But it won't lay against the wall flat.And same...if all of you store your bigCarpenter SQ's in a drawer, it will not lay flat with the fence on, because of the "lip" it gives you, no matter which way you are squaring up something from the left or right & you have to flip your big SQ over. Or you can just put it on & take it off when you want. It's not hard at all. It's quick fast & easy.

I didn't want to spend a lot on Square Fence. This fence works great and is spot on. I saved a bit now that I don't need the expensive squares just for an edge.

If you have two framing squares, than this is a must for one of them. Once set up square, it allows one hand holding. Take your time to set up square!

Well built and inexpensive for what it is. Easily attached or removed from the square. I have several squares and I think this will come in handy.
