I had a failing fan on one of my EVGA GTX FTW 980's in SLI (which is two cards in one PC). One card was getting hot and upon opening up the PC and taking a look, a fan was intermittent. Cable power harness was short but it came with an extension 4pin adapter which you kind have to finagle under the heat-sink to get out of the way but it works. Some review on here claimed these were louder than OEM, which is false. Its the same exact fan(s) with the same p/n on the back as OEM, just the wiring harness is shorter. This kit worked fine for me, just take your time tucking the wiring in place to make sure nothing pokes out into the fan blades.Tested with EVGA Precision X1 app and both my cards now run at the same approx RPM and cool to a max 32*C as normal. No complaints.

The cable was a little long so it hung out a little but I'd rather have to much than too little.

so i bought these after reading the mix reviews & I unfortunately gotten a set where the wire for the fans is way too short. I am unable to plug them into the GPU. Short by half an inch.Would like to order & get the right length but judging by all the other reviews, this is not the best place to get them.

TL:DR - Works on Alienware's 3080 video card! I tested it and no errors were reported by the card afterwards.Full Review:My video card started throwing errors and I realized it was because the fan kept turning on and off. I tried to leave it unplugged by then I got a different set of errors. I had no choice but to replace the fan. This listing has 2 fans (obviously) but my 3080 only needed one. So, I cut off the fan that had a longer wire. I chose to cut this one off because it doesn't have all 4 wires which probably means it will throw an error. The fan on the shorter wire does have all four wires. I chose this listing because of the price and I now have a spare fan!... I really hope I won't need it.This fan was easy to install except... the wire was BARELY able to reach the plug. It really feels like it was made way too short and I think other reviews said the same. I know my card wasn't listed as being compatible but I matched the model number and brand of the fan to chose this one (exact match and brand except 2x fans vs 1). Because my GPU wasn't listed as compatible, I'm not going to hold it against them. Although, it IS compatible. I swapped fans and it worked! No more errors.Pro Tip: If you're not sure that this fan is compatible with your GPU's fan, you can remove the broken fan and look at the sticker on the underside. There's almost always a sticker with brand and model number. Look up the model number to buy it. In this case, "Power Logic" is the brand and "PLA09215B12H" is the model number. My broken fan's sticker wasn't exactly the same as this one's but I trusted that the brand and model were enough and it seems to have been accurate.Side note, I think the first 2 letters of the model are brand, "PL" = Power Logic. Then the version? "A" = first gen? then size, 92x15. I'm not sure what "B" is for, I suspect bearing? 12 should be voltage. IDK what the H is. Hope that helps if you can't find your exact fan!If you thought this review was helpful, please click on the "Helpful" button so I know that I'm not wasting my time writing these reviews.

The wires are way too short so does not fit properly. Looking at product labels on old fan and new and it's exact same model fan just wiring is shorter for whatever reason. I will need to get a 4 pin extension for this to work properly. In photo, look at 4 pin connector wire, this is the piece that's too short. Doesn't even make it out of the heat sink grill let alone reach the connector on the GPU motherboard.I saw another review for someone saying wires are too long so warning to buyers, seems to be random what you'll receive with this. You won't get a factory fan that comes with the card.My card was an EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti.Will update review on what 4 pin extension was purchased once I get one and get this thing working (unable to test fan quality at the moment due to above issue so will update on that as well).EDIT: I've updated this review many times and the edits keep getting stripped out; possibly due to referencing another website where adapter was purchased so I'll refrain on this edit (sorry Amazon but you just didn't sell this specific part). I did find an adapter and the fans work perfectly so updated to 3 stars, however, was quite the hassle and hard to find the correct adapter.

One of the fans on my venerable GTX770 went out so I was pleasantly surprised to find this nearly identical replacement. The cable wasn't the same length, but other than that these fans appear to be identical to what EVGA had on the card originally. I have had these fans running for several months at this point and there have been no problems.
