I did some research prior to buying this differential, it is everything as advertised and possibly more. I can't even tell it is back there it works that smooth and quiet. I have so much better traction from hard launches, it is near impossible to spin the tires unless it is just from over powering them. Launches are much straighter than with the OEM Locker and no more waiting on the differential to lock up because it is always working. I am running it with Lucas 85w-140 gear oil and no additives, I called Detroit Locker and the tech said not to use any synthetic fluid in it because operation isn't very good with the synthetic fluids.
