About this item

  • 【Powerful Functions】Compatible with 120V/220V power input, the maximum current is 15A, the output voltage is adjustable from 0-220V, and the limit power is 400W. 4000W is the maximum power when working under a resistive load, and the inductive load is 1/3 of the resistive load.
  • 【High-quality Materials】 imported high-quality SMD thyristors, all-aluminum heat sinks are suitable for high-temperature circuits, FR-4 circuit boards are heat-resistant and durable, and double-sided copper layer welding increases safety. Note: The product is a metal case and must be grounded safely!
  • 【Safe and Reliable】 With zero hysteresis and zero delay, it has a peak absorption circuit, which can effectively protect the high power thyristor from sweat, spikes and RC absorption. It is also equipped with multifunctional industrial sockets and thickened phosphor bronze fittings. Multiple layers of fortification give you comprehensive security protect.
  • 【Applicable Appliances】 Our AC motor speed controllers can be widely used in fans, electric stoves, water heaters, small motors, electric irons, tungsten lamps and other electrical appliances. At present, most motors do not support voltage regulation (such as single-phase motors, asynchronous motors, dual-value capacitor motors, etc.), and are not suitable for smart home appliances with complex circuit boards.
  • 【Please Note】 Not suitable for smart appliances with complex circuit boards. The maximum power of connecting inductive loads (such as fans and routers) is about 1500W, and the limit power of connecting resistive loads (such as electric furnaces and heating wires) is 4000W. Resistive loads refer to tungsten lamps, heating wires, etc., and inductive loads refer to series-excited motors.

Bought this for use with a 240v griddle from the EU. The griddle has no temp control and 220v was too hot. Using this controller, we were able to adjust the voltage and thus the griddle temperature to just the right degree, which is about 185v for our task. I wasn't sure if this would work, but it works very well.

Works great. Not the highest quality but works good in the garage for use.

We purchased this AC variable speed controller for use with a motor that powers our waterfall, and it works exceptionally well! The controller allows for smooth and precise adjustments, providing great flexibility to control the water flow exactly as we want. The performance has been consistent, and it's made a noticeable difference in the operation of our waterfall. One thing to note, however, is that the unit is not waterproof. While this is not a dealbreaker for us, having a waterproof option would be a fantastic addition for outdoor or high-moisture settings. Overall, we're very pleased with the functionality and reliability of this product. Highly recommended for those needing motor speed control!

Got this and was surprised at how lightweight it is. Weight-wise, it feels like the controller is empty, and feels like it was made very cheaply. Was skeptical, but plugged it in to run a large shop fan. This fan has 2 speeds - tropical force and hurricane force winds! Works well for outside and a large shop, but we wanted to use it indoors when doing repairs around the house as well. Hooked this controller up, and it definitely slows the fan speed down. The fan doesn't even start to work until the dial on the controller is at about 60% (less than that the fan does nothing), and goes up from there. When using the controller the fan speed never gets to full speed, even at 100%. Not a problem because if we want the fan to run at full speed, we just unplug the controller, and use the fan as-is. We wish the speed control was better at controlling the fan between 0-100%, but at least it does make the fan usable indoors, whereas it wasn't before. With the build quality, I'm not really sure how long it will last, but time will tell.

I have two Westinghouse table fans from the 1950s. They move a lot of air but they tend to be a bit noisy. When I want a lot of moving air or I want white noise for a sleep, those fans are great. For TV I want much less airflow and much less noise. This controller works perfectly to slow the fan, reduce the air and cut the noise dramatically. I can use the ON/OFF switch without changing the speed setting and the fan returns to the preset speed from the night before. That's just what I wanted. The watt meter on the controller does not show what wattage of this fan. I don't know why and I really don't care. The controller does what I want it to do.

I bought this to control the speed of a table saw motor I am making into a sanding table. This controller works very well for this purpose.
