As others noted, the arm are more movable then I would like when clamped down. I had read the reviews and was prepared for this. I bought this one anyway instead of the others because I liked the design better. Made new washers out of Delrin, including the cone washers, and it works perfectly now!

Used it on my Bridgeport to tram in the vise and it worked fine

The 'swivel pad' on the arbor thumbscrew immediately fell off and rolled to the most inaccessible corner of my shop. I needed to clean there anyway, just not then.Installed and mounted an indicator. The indicator sags. Can't tighten the arms enough to hold up a small indicator. Certainly can't trust the readings.

Bought to be used with a vertical indicator ( same brand) several times a week on a milling. It is easy to set up , and rigid enough to be pleasant to use. Nothing to complain. The price is amazing. Very happy with it.

This is a decent quality tool and I kept it because of that but I cannot testify as to it's usefulness as it did not work in my application. I will find a use for it at some point I hope...maybe after 3D printing an adapter.

Nylon friction washers were not ideal, allowed moving sections to move too easily. Machined 8 new washers out of Delrin rod and replaced the nylon ones.The device is now much sturdier.Please with the modified finished product
