Great product! I had an older one of the same brand that lasted for about ten years. I looked around and noticed that there were at least three different indoor displays that all seemed to come with the same outside base unit. I got the one with what I wanted - a color display that is easy to see and gives the breakdown of rainfall by week, month, and year on the primary screen. Easy to connect and get up and running.

I installed this for my 92-year-old Dad. He was able to operate it with no issues. It looks great, is easy to set up, and works as advertised.

I am happy with this purchase! Defiantly recommend it! Setting it up was very easy! I tested the temperature against an actual normal thermometer we had hanging outside and it was spot on! You can see the display from a distance due to nice bright screen! The screen is also dimmable if you set it to automatically turn down for nighttime display! You can set it on one display setting or have it make a rotation through different displays! Very easy to use! Measure many different things like rain fall, records highest and lowest temperature for that day, windspeed, weather recorded in the last seven days...just to name a few! Great purchase!

I owned a way cheaper Acu weather station for years and decided to upgrade. It works just fine from a nerds point of view. The sensor needs to be away from everything for accuracy. Which brings me to the included mount, which was useless for me. Purchased a pole from the hardware store to mount it on.Is it high end...no. Am I satisfied....yes.Display looks good with the only complaint is I wish it was more customizable.Satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this gadget.

I purchased the AcuRite 01535M 5-in-1 Weather Station with HD Display in January 2018. It no longer works as it keeps showing the temperature as -40 degrees. Have changed batteries, reconfigured the connection, changed channels,reset to factory settings, no help. Enjoyed the weather station but didn't last very long. Also wish there was a battery backup as when power goes out, it loses the YTD info. Only gave 2 stars because it stopped working after 16 months (warranty if 12 months).Updated 6/6/18: I am updating the rating to 5 stars! Contrary to other reviews, I was able to contact Acu Rite's Customer Service through their chat and they were extremely helpful. After troubleshooting it was determined that it was a bad sensor and even though was out of warranty sent me a complimentary replacement sensor! Now it is up and running and works like new! My experience with Acu Rite's customer service/tech support was A+ and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another weather station from them in the future.

For all the weather enthusiasts out there, this is a wonderful gift idea!!! My husband works in weather, about to retire, and he was thrilled to get this as a gift for his birthday. It looks nice on the railing of the deck. It’s an interesting-looking piece. The indoor monitor is very easy on the eyes and has plenty of info. Worth the money.

This is a really nice product and it worked out of the box. But the auto dimming mode on my display doesn't work and also I have tried to add Accurite temp sensors to it and this display would not see them. But the wind and direction work well, Temp is accurate with the humidity. Just wish the temp sensors that I purchased would pair and the display would dim. But in today's world it's rare to buy a new product that works 100% out of the box.Additional comment: After three business days of trying to contact customer support with out ANY luck at all I did some research. Apparently Acurite does not have any real customer support any more.. This could be an issue issue if you have a real problem. So far I can live with the two discrepancies that I listed above. It's a nice unite but BEWARE - No Customer Support. No phone support. No live chat and NO EMAIL RESPONSE. Nice product just too bad there is NO ONE to answer your questions or conerns.Upate - After five weeks in service we got a second rain and NOW the rain gauge quit working. Very disappointing for sure. Also this is mounted up 30' on a metal building and a rain slick roof so it's not going to get checked out till spring now. Some other observations are the weather forecast picture display doesn't have a clue what's coming or current and the barometer is not accurate at all. I check it with the local airport that is 1/4 mile away and my good old trusty mechanical barometer and it's pretty far off. The "two week" leaning period for the weather forecast pictures and the barometer are truly a joke. I'm of course past the 30 return window with Amazon and no response from Acurite for a service request. The unit is really a toy and waste of money and effort to install. Buyer beaware is the name of the game with this unit.Additional update - December 2019 - Interesting thing with the rain gauge, it woke up. Today we had 25mph winds and the sensor was bouncing around atop a 4' pole that is 2" in diameter. In one hour the rain gauge measured .61" inches of rain. The problem was there was not a drop of rain. The movement of the unit at the top of this pole must have bounced the rain gauge enough to trigger it constantly for an hour and I go 5/8" of rain with out a drop falling. I guess I can't blame acurite for this but at least it woke the gauge up or broke it loose. Can't wait for some real moisture to see what it measures then.Final update - October 2021 - Well about 6 months ago the rain gauge part of the display would not store the historical data and display it. I knew the 5 in 1 sensor was okay as I would get rain results as they happened but in the 48 hour period following the historical data for this one event would disappear. Well I put up with this until this month when I finally tried to do something about it. I powered down the display to dump all the stored data and after waiting 5 minutes I powered up the display and half of the graphic display was blank!! Now I try to go into the menu and do a hard reset and it won't allow me to do that as it produces a blank screen. I have played with it for two days now and while I still have wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity the rain gauge stopped working. As I mentioned half of the information on the display is missing so it's time I start looking at a brand new weather station and you can bet it won't be Acurite. This isn't the first piece of Acurite gear I have ever owned but it will certainly be the last. Acurite puts some great features in all their products but you have to hold your breath that it works for a year. I got three years to the day and this thing died completely. So it's time to move on. Thank you Acurite for a neat product it's just too bad it's build of such cheap material it just quits working.

If your man is a weather geek this is perfect for him. It tells you everything you know about the weather. Easy to set up and I think my husband likes it better than me.

For our use. It's a good product

The AcuRite 01535M weather station is easy to install, setup, and read. The manufacturer recommends AA lithium rather than alkaline AA batteries if the outdoor temps normally fall below -4C. The indoor screen is high resolution and simple to use. There is no battery backup for the indoor display so you may want a battery backup (UPS) for the indoor display if you have frequent power outages.

App does not work for this model for android phone. Check the rating of the app if you dont beleive me. Therefore i cannot download any historical data . No forecast for middle east. If thats the case why sells it in the middle east?
