Works great for large aquariums. We have 100+ gallon aquariums and have used this for large water changes. Also used on small pools both inflatable and plastic. I think it would be perfect for a pond. It makes life so much easier than having to flip on fold over a small pool to drain it. I am unsure how long it would take to drain a large in ground pool. Even when paired with an extension cord there seems to be no difference in performance. Definitely worth the price

Works quick and efficiently. Doesn’t get clogged. Only negative is that it doesn’t turn on and off based on water, it has to be unplugged or will constantly run.

Got this to remove pool water from the above the ground pool cover. It works good. It is small but powerful enough to get the work done.

Piece of junk. Worked once. Next rain worked for a few minutes and now is dead. Flimsy cheap, unreliable. DO NOT BUY THIS!!

I bought this pump for some general purpose, low rate water movement and also as a feed for a Halloween decoration. I almost threw it away after hooking it up and using the 1/4" interior diameter plastic pipe which is both very soft and collapsable. It would pump about 3 qts a minute. I then hooked up some 3/4" PVC pipe (my preferred) to the pump and got the >5gal per minute performance expected. Ditch the included pipe and your performance becomes reasonable. My other gripe - the plastic screw in adapters are a bit short - it's a bit of a challenge getting a deep enough connection to use a clamp to hold a pipe on the pump. Good product but some cut corners!

We needed to drain an old pool to remove it. Most pumps stop working when the water gets too low, this one did. Easy to use and great value for the money
