I had the unfortunate experience of a product failure after approximately 2.5 months of use but the company stood behind the product and replaced it free of charge. I purchased this pump towards the end of the summer season and installed it in early August. The pump was very quiet and worked quite well. The programmability was simple and I was completely satisfied. In mid-October, I closed the pool and the pump did not run again until May when I opened the pool. After a couple of days, the pump began to get much more noisy and I suspected that the motor was failing. I called the company and they responded in less than 24 hours and asked for a video of the problem. By this time, the motor had completely failed and within 48 hours of sending the video, the company agreed to send a replacement. The pump is currently programmed to run about 18 hours per day at various speeds and it is now at the beginning of the swim season so it will be running from now until mid-October 18 hours per day everyday. I will report again in October on the status of the product but for now, it appears that the new pump is working well! Product failures happen and in this case, the company stood behind the product, responded VERY quickly, and provided great customer service. I would buy from this company again!

I didnt know what to expect from this manufacturer but after one year of use, Im sold on their pumps. The pump i bought is easy to operate at any speed and its half the price of the competitors.

Updated: After sharing a video of the failure, Chlorworks has refunded me (I had already purchased a replacement pump). Upping to 4 stars because the company completely resolved my issue. Was originally very pleased with the pump. Its very quiet, has a lot of programming options, and was easy to install. However, after exactly 1 year of use the shaft seal broke and it leaks everywhere. This is not a failure that should occur after only 1 year, regardless of this being a low cost pump. I assumed they would honor the warranty and take care of me, but I'm unable to locate ANY warranty contact information. They have no website and no contact info anywhere online. :( If you're from Chlorworks or Amazon, and can help, please do. If you're shopping for a pump and reading this, I would pass unless they can resolve this issue.

I looked at a bunch of pumps. I got this to replace an old noisy energy hog that was installed in my new house. This thing works great. High speed is a bit noisy, but pumps super hard. I have a very small pool (maybe 9000 gallons). I run this thing at 2400 rpms for 45 mins in the AM, slow (about 900 rpm) all day (5 hrs) to keep the water moving, and them another 2400 for 30 mins at the end if the day. Seems to be all it needs to stay clean. I don't know how much power I save yet, but it has to be a lot. The old pump would scream all day. It's also very easy to program, and keeps the settings for quite a while if the power goes out.If you're hesitant, buy one.
