Received the finder scope in great shape, but no warranty or user information in the box. Not really a problem, finder scopes are pretty much self explanatory, but the lack of warranty or company contact info was a bit troubling. The image is very clear, front focus has a lot of range and is very well made locks firmly in place. Entire scope is well made, all metallic parts and optics look excellent clear with a nice cross hair setup, fits a standard accessory mount with no problems. Image is corrected as expected vertically and not horizontally. Now for my only complaint and it is a fairly bad one. As advertised the scope has two adjustment screws and a spring pin to align the cross hair with your telescopes centered image. The concept works great at first glance ..... easily adjusted. However their is no tension adjustment for the spring pin. Mine has a moderate spring force so if you bump this finder scope after setup .... Yep you guessed it, hit the restart and set it up again. A third locking screw would have fixed this issue or even a tension adjustment on the spring pin would be excellent. This is not an inexpensive finder scope, its sturdy and works great. I stiffened up the spring pin by adding a 12 wide by 4" long heavy duty rubber band stretched and doubled around the scope pushing down on the spring pin. Luckily I fly electric RC airplanes and a few of my larger planes required that size rubber band for wing retension. So they were on hand. Hoping the manufacturer sees this and contacts me about this spring pin tension issue. If there is a way to adjust the pins tension it certainly eluded me, I tried everything.... Would have easily been a five star rating if not for this spring pin issue!
