West facing deck - regular awning doesn't work, umbrellas don't work, pergolas too expensive! I set this sail up from the roof to the deck railings. Think ðŸ“. It took 15 mins to install - easy takedown for windy days or winter. Do purchase the hardware from an Amazon vendor. Gets a decent amount of sun off you, though I will resist going on the deck on hot sunny days with temps in excess of 87 degrees fahrenheit. Perforated so the wind comes through and the rain - no ponding on the sail. Bonus of added privacy if you want it. Add, a beverage, comfy seats and you are set.

This awning is the perfect size and color for our deck. It's heavy duty yet allows wind and water to pass. I don't have to take it down when it rains. I also think it's the perfect neutral color. Excellent purchase!

I'm enjoying this purchase. It has shaded parts of my deck and kept it comfortable. It was easy to put up, we did have to buy clips, chains, and 2x2's to hang up. The second picture is how the sunshade holds up when it's raining out. It does dip down from the weight of the water, there isn't any water pooling, but there is a part where most of the water leaks through. I assumed water resistant meant that even if it was raining outside whatever area the sunshade covers would remain dry, but thats not the case. It makes sense since it doesn't hold the heat in, why would would it keep the water out.

We pruchased one to go over our patio. It was easy to put up. Provide great shade over our outside table. A couple of weeks later had the idea to extend the shaded area by putting up a second one over our pool. It worked great. It also dropped the pool water temputure 3 degrees. Part of the pool is under the shade sail and part in the sun. Its nice to be be able to enjoy both, sun and shade in our pool.

handles wind very well, love this aqua blue color. Keeps us so much cooler on our deck during hot Texas summers. This is my 3 one, have loved them all. Last about 4 years.

I’ve had this up for a month or so and it has held up amazing in high winds about 40-50mph. Another brand had already had the seem coming undone at this point. But not this one, it is still super solid and going strong. So far, I would buy it again.

Now we will see how it holds up - seems to block the sun well, dew in the morning weighs it down but as it dries it goes back to proper height, Don't forget to purchase a hardware kit to hang the sail with and I used a ratchet strap to pull the sail tight - it takes several adjustments after you hang it as it stretches out.
