How To Install Batteries
1.Remove the yellow protective case of the anemometer.
2.The battery is mounted on the back of the anemometer, follow the text and arrow directions to open the lid of the battery compartment.
3.You can use a screwdriver, key, or hard plastic sheet to open the lid of the battery compartment.
4.And note that the "+" on the battery is facing outward.

Low end sensitivity is not as good as on some more expensive instruments, but once you are over 4 or 5 knots, it seems to work well enough. The size is very small. It's functions are basic. It's pretty easy to use. Battery changes require no tools other than a coin. It really would benefit from a small hard case to protect the sensor fan from being broken while it is being stored in a pocket or a bag. The price was fantastic. I paid 4 times as much for a more complicated instrument that died from the same fragility in the fan sensor. the price of this whole unit was less than the price of the replacement part for the other one. I will use these from now on & just consider them to be disposable. The price lets me do that.

Needed a tool to precisely measure the amount of output from each heater outlet in a car. This worked perfectly, and you cannot beat the price!

Stopped working. It just flickers on for a millisecond and turns off. change batteries, clean terminals, same thing. junk. Owned for a few months, used like 3 times.
