There is no set up to this, which I like. Just plug it into your phone and the app pops up. The camera quality is great. My kids are having a great time with it, exploring ant homes and all things in nature. The camera has a light at the end so the picture always stays bright and clear. The only issue is if you try to put it in a hole that has a curve, it’s tricky to get the camera to curve with it.

Used it to find a small part that had dropped down inside our pellet stove. Lots of other uses in the future!Works perfectly with my Android cell phone...

everything about this is great and as described. IMO even with the 90 degree camera it was very hard to position it to see what I was inspecting. I was only using it about 4 feet into a tight space beyond that it would have been even harder. So I am returning and will likely get the one with the full motion head in the future

I must admit my experience with scopes is limited, but my enthusiasm for finally getting one of my own has been dampened by this scope's apparent limitations. The image quality is much lower than I would expect from the claimed 1080p. It's extremely grainy, and even with adjustable led brightness, the image gets blown out very easily.Granted, I don't have much experience, but the simple non articulating head is extremely difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. maybe there's just a learning curve to getting better with it.Unfortunately, I'm not willing to put in the time to practice given the device's lack of app support. I can't get image on any app other than the company's proprietary app. Other apps will recognize the scope, but none of the 4 other, more well established and vetted apps from either open sources or known company's were able to produce a signal. When I got the scope the app had only 12 downloads and zero reviews. I'm sorry, call me overly cautious or paranoid, but I'm simply not willing to grant permissions and risk my data security for an unverified app from a completely unknown source, from a presumably Chinese company with unknown accountability, just to use a cheap endoscope.Maybe when the scope works with more open source application options or after Anykit's proprietary app has been more independently verified by security sources, I'll be more willing to give the tool a more thorough trial.

I really don't have much to complain about. It might be a little difficult to store. The camera reacted quickly to focal and light changes. I used the tip lens to guide the camera and the side lens to locate the leak. It worked like a champ!

The Anykit endoscope camera is reliable, versatile and user-friendly. Designed with practicality in mind, this endoscope comes with a long 16.5ft semi-rigid snake camera, making it easy to maneuver in various tight spaces. The device's dual-lens system enhances its functionality, allowing for a broader field of view and more detailed inspections.Compatibility with both phones and tablets adds a layer of convenience, as you can use your preferred device to view the camera feed. The connection process is quick and easy, and the accompanying app is intuitive and easy to navigate. The camera quality is decent, with a 1.0MP resolution that provides clear and sufficient detail for most inspection tasks. The 8 LED lights, which are adjustable, ensure that the camera performs well in dimly lit or dark environments. During my usage, the lights provided adequate illumination, making it easier to identify issues within confined spaces. It's also waterproof. I tested the camera in a few damp conditions, and it functioned without any issues, maintaining a clear image throughout. The semi-rigid cable strikes a good balance between flexibility and rigidity, allowing for precise control while navigating through various inspection sites. Overall, this camera is a well-rounded inspection tool that offers good value for its price. Full marks from me!

Prior to using the Duel Lens Endoscope Camera, I read the enclosed 12 page safety warnings pamphlet, the User Manual and watched the video tutorial. There is a QR code in the manual that works good. It was very easy to down load the application to my iPhone, and become accustomed to using the app functionality. It comes with a hook and a small magnet that attaches to the end of the camera.I wanted to give this device a try, by looking at something quite simple. So I chose to look under my sofa. As you can see from the pictures, the camera was strong and clear to capture the cobweb (guess I need to vacuum haha) and the individual carpet fibers. In the 2nd picture with the yellow circle on it, there was an object under the sofa near the wall. The cord was too stiff for me to manoeuvre the camera to the object, so I could not use the hook that comes with it, to grab onto the object to remove it.I found the cord too stiff were it attached to my iPhone; the phone kept spinning in my hand as the cable moved under the sofa. I was a little concerned that the plug hole in my iphone might get damaged if I held it firm when the cable moved, so I it kept spinning in my hand. The manual says it is water resistant, then it says not to submerge the monitor in water. Confusing. How is a person supposed to stick this thing into a kitchen sink drain and bypass the trap under the sink that is supposed to have water in it? I’m sure there are other uses for this endoscope camera with a stiff cord that other people and skilled tradesman would find this device very useful.I’ve rated this a an overall 4 instead of a 5 as I think the part of wire that attaches to the phone should be more flexible or have a swivel on it. The camera, the application and the light does work well and for the price of $50, it’s a decent product.

Being able to hook this up to your cell phone is a handy feature and helps reduce the cost of these devices. Also, your cell phone may have a much larger screen than the all in one units.I have a couple of issues with this product - the image is grainy and often, in darker places, it's difficult to resolve small details. If you were looking for a missing screw for example, you might not be able to see it.The other issue is that the weight and torque on the connection to the phone causes it to dislodge easily. I would have preferred a brace of some kind that took the stress off of the phone connection and held it securely. It would be helpful to have 2 people using the endoscope, one to hold the phone steady and secure the connection, and one to do the fishing. You download an app to install on your phone using the QR code. It has some useful features, including being able to rotate the view to help with positioning. The cord is long and can be bent into position which it can hold for convenience. It ships with a couple of hooks that screw onto the end - a simple hook and a magnet. You have to unscrew a tiny thread cover on the end in order to attach the tools. Don't lose the thread protector.

15 years ago I bought a similar camera. It worked ok, but nothing special about it. Now that I have this Endoscope camera, I will never use that old one again. I am impressed at the quality of the image. The first photo is a picture of the camera being tested. The second photo is from the Endoscope camera itself. You can clearly see the markings on the caliper. If you use the camera to find an object that has fallen into a crevice, it comes with two attachments that will help you with this. One is a hook and the other is a magnet. To use them you need to carefully unscrew the ring at the end of the camera then carefully screw on the attachment. I especially like the magnet attachment. It will be great for the many times I drop screws that always manage to land in some hard-to-reach spot. The app allows you to take photos or videos. It also has a button that switches between the end camera, and a side camera. I was pleasantly surprised that this endoscope has two cameras on it. The side camera is not quite as clear as the end one, but still very good quality. There is also an adjustment for the brightness of the cameras LED's located on the cable near the Type "C" USB connector. The only thing I don't like about this camera is the stiffness of the cable. It is too stiff to easily maneuver in some locations such as pipes. It's nice that there is 16.5 feet of cable, but I can't see that being used in any practical manner, again, due to the stiffness of the cable. Unless you are looking down a straight hole or pipe.I had a hard time making up my mind to give this a 4-star or a 5-star rating. I would like to give it 4.5 but after factoring the price for what you get, I decided to give it 5 stars. If you want something better than this camera, I think you will need to pay a lot more. This camera is not professional quality, but it's really nice for home use. I do recommend it.

So, you gotta download an app to use this thing, but it's no biggie to find and it's pretty easy to use. Works pretty well, at least on Android (didn't try it on iPhone though). I'm usually wary of installing apps from unknown companies, but this one doesn't ask for any weird permissions, just the usual photo and video saving stuff. The picture quality is solid, and I dig that the brightness control is a physical button rather than one on the screen. There are two cameras, front and side, and you switch between them in the app, no physical button for that. The tips that come with it are easy to swap out and stay put if you screw them in properly, they feel sturdy too.Haven't had to move anything with the magnetic tip yet, but I tested it on a small tool and that magnet is strong as heck (probably one of those "rare earth" types, if you know what I mean). The little adapter for iPhone is a neat and simple solution for compatibility.
