I wanted to make my desk space more cleaner and wanted tiered shelves. All the other shelves had no guard on it incase anything slips and this one did. I did pay the full $50 but soon saw that it was $10 cheaper the week after. Either way, I'm happy with it and made my work space better

Okay ,the good: It's definitely functional. They are just deep enough to fit a standard papered notebook in. I have it on a desk that it a sitting/ raises to standing desk. Its stable on the desk. Another reviewer said they couldn't set it up to be hanging from the desk. They are wrong you can, its not an easy switch though. The bad: the machining on the holes that you screw into are not perfect, couldn't hand screw into them, had to use my drill. The clamps and their pad leaves some to be desired. It's a bolt that pushes up through a thin pad, like the bolt could almost go through the pad. The shelves are slightly angled.Overall I am happy with it. Its attached to my desk now and enjoy the extra space/ organization it has given me.

The bigger screws were the wrong size, too big for the holes! Now I have to go purchase new ones, that fit.

This kit came well-packaged with no damage or missing parts. There is hex key provided for the long bolts, so you'll just need a screwdriver for the short bolts. Finish is good on all parts, though I would have liked to see the bolts finished in white as well.Assembly isn't too hard, but you do need to take note of the orientation of the two support poles and make sure the holes are lining up correctly for your use intent. You can set this up to mount to the top of your desk or the bottom and can also adjust the height of the shelves; this gives you a lot of options, but twice during assembly I had to unscrew what I had just done and flip or move parts around. The instructions give you the basic configurations and assembly pictures, just be aware not to tighten everything up all the way until all pieces are assembled.I would have liked rolled edges on the shelves and perhaps slightly thicker metal. There are no sharp edges to cut yourself on, but the metal is on the thinner side. Once all the bolts are tightened up, everything stays in place well, but during assembly I noted the shelves had some flex in them. No points off as it all fit together correctly and feels sturdy enough once mounted.I mounted this above the desk and have placed a few items on the shelves. I think the shelves might hold the combined 44 lbs it says, but personally I wouldn't put that much weight on a permanent basis. These shelves are great for holding desk stuff like pens/usb drives/etc, or even tablets/chargers. More like 10 or 15 lbs max per shelf, with the weight spread out; I'd have no problem keeping that weight on the shelves permanently. The braces hold securely and have padding both above and below to protect your desk. They need about 1.5 inches of clearance to fully seat under the desk, so if you have a small "lip" to work with that is smaller than that you won't get full contact on the bottom brace point. The appearance is just as pictured. Because of the flexibility of use, there are spare holes left open which makes this slightly more utilitarian than decorative. That said, it doesn't look bad at all for a desk at home. Great function, pretty well-executed, and decent parts overall. Worth buying at full price if if fits your need, and a good deal if there is a discount available.

The 2-Tier Clamp On Desk Shelf was easy to assemble and clamp onto my existing desk set-up, and I am pleasantly surprised at how large the shelves really are: knowing shelf dimensions and seeing them in person are two different things. Each shelf can hold a fair amount of things that aren't too terribly heavy. I got the white color and installed the shelves above the desk and find they aren't obstructive to my view of the room. They seem sturdy in construction and the whole assembly seems like it'll hold. However, both shelves are at a slight angle leaning away from my desk and can't be corrected because the screw holes bored into the metal are off kilter. The angle isn't bad and something I can live with, but it's enough to knock off 1 star.

The ARES WING 2-Tier Clamp-On Desk Shelf is a must-have for anyone looking to declutter and optimize their workspace. Two tiers measuring just over 16†x 8.7" inches easily hold most desk supplies and heavier items, freeing up valuable space.Built from heavy-duty steel, it can be mounted above or under the desk to hold most supplies. The protective edges have a smooth finish, and it comes with headphones. It is easy to put together and comes with everything needed except a screwdriver. It took me about 10 minutes to have this stand clamped onto my desk. The black paint has also held out over the last few weeks of constant use without any chips or scratches. I placed two 10-pound weights on each shelf, and it handled them like a champ and maintained its stability and durability. The smooth finish helps to make sure nothing gets snagged. The included headphone hook is a nice addition that easily clips to the edge of the shelf and holds tightly. Each self has multiple places of height adjustment.Overall, the ARES WING 2-Tier Clamp-On Desk Shelf is a smart, stylish, and highly functional storage solution for anyone looking to declutter and elevate their workspace. With durable construction, flexible positioning, and a sleek modern design, it’s perfect for home offices, gaming stations, and creative workspaces. This is the ultimate desk upgrade if you want to maximize efficiency while maintaining a clean and professional setup! Highly recommended!
