Put this on the back of a Volkswagen Touareg. Great for a little extra bumper protection and it’s unobtrusive with the ends slightly angled inward. Solid quality and a good value.

It’s a small area to step on, but still bigger than the hitch ball I was using as a step before getting this. Fits into my class V 2†hitch receiver.Compared to the other options I was looking at, its certainly priced much nicer, it also folds up out of the way which is very nice, though I doubt the bare metal piece of flat spring steel will last long before rusting away or wearing out, which means eventually its going to always be in the down position. That spring is also what holds the step into its base so when the spring goes the step will probably come off and bounce down the road into a windshield behind you.Other than the spring, it’s all cast aluminum which is pretty nice. No idea what the weight rating is, going to say not much, I weigh 200 pounds and feel like I’m pushing it’s limits, I wouldn’t trust stepping on it while holding an 80 pound bag of concrete, if it does break it looks like a painful fall.

Due to having two child seats on the 2nd row seats in my large SUV, it's easier to access the 3rd row through the rear cargo area. However, it has quite a high entry, making the climb in and out a bit hard. This step provided the (almost) perfect solution. It fits into the tow receptacle and is at the perfect height to make getting in and out easy.It is sturdy and well made. Although I used a lock bar and not the bolt that comes with it, the bolt appears strong. It appears larger than I thought it would, which, in my case, is a good thing. Plenty of room for both feet. However, I opted for the all black version (as opposed to the chromed ends one, because I thought the all black one would be stealthy. Well, given its size and where my tow recepticle is, stealth is out of the question. Still, I think it looks good. But the chromed one might have looked better. Now, about that "(almost)": This might be normal, as I have never used a tow receptacle before. But, the step seems a tad loose. Not that it moves around when used, but it isn't as snug a fit as I expected. However, I also got that rubber bumper thing that keeps it snug.Overall, I'm very pleased with this step.

Great step for getting stuff out of the bed of your truck, especially in the middle of the bed. I like that you can fold it up when it is not it use, so you don’t have to worry about hitting your shins which is very painful, it also looks good. Quality product highly recommend it.

RETURNED. Assembly was done worse than a Middle School metal shop project. The hitch tube was welded to the bumper on such a terrible slant that the left side of the bumper was almost 2 in higher than the right side of the bumper! This should not have passed inspection. It's a big disappointment to get trash like this as it wastes yours & my time and money. Thankfully, Amazon made returning it easy. I know the photo showing the crooked weld is a little bit difficult to decipher. The black part at the top is the step pad on top of the bumper. Directly under that you can see the how the hitch tube is welded on a slant instead of being perfectly straight across as it should be. The photos with the rulers show the difference in height on the left side of the bumper compared to the right side of the bumper.

I use it on the front hitch of my bumper as a mounting block for my horse when we are on trail. Super convenient and it supports my thicc self.

The shape of this step matches the angle on my Frontier nicely, but Ihadn't realized the angle it until I began installing. It matches with the steps at the door great. However, It has installed on an angle that should have been caught during production. I've had to shim up one side to get it to fit halfway even and it is still askew one end sticks out further than the other and gives it a lop-sided look. Over all I am not satisfied and cannot believe this made it through quality assurance. I layed it (tongue)on a flat surface and one end was up 1/4" and the other side was down nearly 1". If they work on their quality I would have considered it a great product evn though it came with a ding on one end which wouldnt have mattered to me. Some might be sataisfied with it but my tru has nice sharp angles and this distracts from the step.

Looks great but it's very thin material, will offer no protection.

I just got it and it is well made. Looks OEM quality. Clean finished edges ....not sloppy. I'm surprised how good it is. I used a lock pin I have but the hardware bolt it comes with is all top shelf. No rattling. I can now get to the roof rack.

Pretty nice. I like the chrome and black step pad.. fits well. Sits a bit loose in the hitch..but I dont hear it ratteling..I just cut some thick card board and shoved it in until I can get shives..bilit don't think it's necessary.. over all very happy with it...only thing that bugged me a little was a price drop almost a week after I ordered it

It should fit tighter into the receiver.Too much free play.Once you step on it feels unsafe because it moves and it sits a bit crooked. Not exactly what I expected
