I love the size of the journal. The paper is good quality (not cheap or thin). The lines are not too small or too large. I like the locking feature except that the numbers are too hard to read! Maybe if they painted the numbers in glow-in-the-dark paint that would be helpful :)

Super cute and sturdy. The journal book has cardboard cover that slides inside the purple outer shell and stays snuggly. This is cool bc that means you can replace the book with a new one of the same size when you fill up the first one. The journal is a nice size I wish it were made in an 11x7 ish size also. But I think that doesn’t exist with a combo lock in general.

My daughter would not write into a journal until I started buying her these types. Now she is on her third journal! I know you can buy replacement paper for them instead of a new journal, but she likes having the whole journal and a different color one for each year.
