General Introduction of 2"/M48-Extension Tube Kit
Sometimes you cannot get to the right focal plane for focusing with a camera or eyepiece. This extension tube kit solves this problem. You can use this extender with any camera or eyepiece or with various adapters. The M48*0.75 threads on both ends make it extremely versatile. Use this extender for obtaining the correct image scale or for the exact spacing required for a reducer or field flattener. You can reach the extension length required by combining several extenders of different lengths.
Effectively reduce stray light interference, not only improve the brightness of the image, but also effectively reduce the dark edges formed, the edge details of the image are clearer.
The required spacing can be achieved by combining several extenders of differing lengths, you can use 1 piece, 2 pieces , 3 pieces or 4 pieces of the extension rings as you like.

Great quality M48 extension tubes for my telescope at a very reasonable price. The threads are a perfect match for my scope. The tubes come in five different lengths so you can stack them in whatever combination you need to reach proper focus. My only complaint is there is no knurling on the tubes to make it easier to grip them to unscrew, but this is a very minor issue. My photo shows one length of the M48 tubes attached to my scope just before the end cap... a perfect fit.

Threaded right into my 2 inch eyepieces an extends them to provide a bigger range to bring the eyepiece into focus. Spot on!

These adapters appear to be fine for their intended purpose. The threads are of a good length and the walls, while not very thick or substantial, seem appropriately rigid.

Edit: I’m changing my review to 5 stars. It turns out the thinness that I first complained about actually allows these to be used in a 2†focuser. The outside diameter is a perfect fit! If the metal was thicker it would not be able to serve multiple purposes.Original review: I bought these spacers because they were the size I needed and they were the most cost effective. I was anticipating them being more robust and was surprised at how thin the metal was. With that said, I am using just the 8mm spacer and it is working as intended supporting an OAG with mini guide cam and DSLR but it still makes me nervous! No issues with the threads. I found once you tighten a small space on (5 or 8mm) they are impossible to take off unless you thread on the longer spacer, tighten that down, and then grabbing both (the short and long spacer) and unscrewing the assembly.

The product is too flimsy for any serious optical instrument. I almost lost my $2500 telescope this the 10 mm spacer. The spacer went in easily, but cross threaded inside the scope. The aluminum is so flmsy, it just deformed inside the scope. fortunately, I was able to take the final piece of the telescope apart and slowly cut the spacer out using a gnawing tool.

I wouldn't recommend these extensions. They feel light and cheaply made. They will work, however there are others of better quality.
