I've used a variety of covers for my telescopes, wanting to keep dust and the sun off the sensitive parts, moreso than humidity or moisture, as I live in the desert. These covers fit both my SCT's and are durable and easy to use. They come with bottom draw strings that are long enough to tie off on a tripod leg to secure the cover during wind events. They fold up easily and store easily too. Investing in two of these was one of my best outlays for my hobby and I am very satisfied.

I don't think it would tolerate rain but it's good for storage and putting on while the equipment comes to temperature before a viewing session.

Covers my Celestron Evolution Edge HD 8†with tripod and wedge just fine. Made from sturdy reflective material. I consider this a good value at the cost.

The description says "Waterproof and Washable: The cover is water-repellent - the telescope stays dry even in the rain."My experience with this cover suggests otherwise. It does fine to keep light due/fog off the scope when not in use but during rain, all my gear is wet. I will definitely be looking for a different cover.

This is a great scope cover. I keep it over a cgem with a c8. It's long enough to reach the tripod feet.
