Planted about 40 bulbs with it yesterday and our ground is hard. It digs just fine. Be careful as it grabs if it hits a root or rock as it will twist your wrist. Use both hands.

I needed this to work on my yard, so I figured i'd give it shot and got the pink one to annoy my wife. It connect easy enough to my drill and doesn't weigh too much, but enough that's if the ground is hard you'd need both hands to hold the drill. It feels like after a short time the color will come off, which in and of itself isn't terrible for what I am using for, but feels like a quick spray job. But, like the title says, it does what it says so far so I am using it until I can't.

We have "Carolina clay" soil. Planting and digging postholes isn't always easy. This auger is a nice way to break up the clay so that it is easier to work with. It made installing a 4x4 post for our bird feeders much easier. Auger appears well made and I anticipate it lasting quite some time.

Fits my husband ryob drill easy and works great even with that drill. I have some hard soil and it dug through that with no problem.

We have soil with a lot of clay. Using a fairly powerful Makita drill with a separate handle, this could drill quite well.Just be aware that it isn't a 1/4" hex chuck. It won't fit into an impact driver. I could only use a drill chuck.

I love that the auger is pink, but the pink does come off. It works great if you can keep it in the drill, but even when used with a drill with a chuck key, it falls out frequently.
