I used the auger to make a 4†hole from the outside of the house to run a drain pipe and worked very well on compact soil and small rocks. The tool is solid and didn’t bend or break. Constructed very well. Thank you

In needed to make some post holes for several projects. I hate digging post holes. I used this tool on a decent sized drill and found that it bores right in to make a 4 inch hole. Then I used a post hole digger to shave the sides to make a bigger hole... much easier than digging a virgin hole. So the process is auger, shave, repeat... makes your holes in no time with a lot less work.

I have dug over 50 holes with this and attached to a hammer drill. This works quite well and the only Issue I had was it was always a bit wobbly at the start. Time will tell tales of its durability.

Used this auger to drill ~30 post holes for a garden fence. This allowed me to bury 4x4 posts in the ground with enough wiggle room to add some gravel and some concrete for the gate posts. Using an electric plug in drill was necessary. My 18v cordless could move it but I could definitely feel it straining against the weight.

After watching the video on this product I was kind of skeptical, but went ahead and bought it anyway to try it out. It works great, but you do need to pay attention when using it, because if it catches big root or stone it will twist your arm. It does a great job of digging holes or tilling the soil which is what I use it for, where I live my soil is mostly clay, Gumby clay, as they call it here. If your a gardener I would recommend this. You can also use for digging holes for fence posts.

Will never go back to hand digging holes for my flowers again. This made putting my flower plot in a breeze.

This tool is solidly built. Did exactly what I asked. Be aware though, if you attach this to your drill and hit a snag under ground (ie. rock) there is a good chance you will hurt your wrists as the bit won’t break though larger stones
