X-FLOAT Dock Auger (Sand Auger) for Aluminum Dock Post

The X-Float auger is made from a military grade composite so it will not break like some poor quality off-shore manufactured metal cast augers. The durable military grade composite can withstand the harshest of outdoor conditions so it will not break or crack under stress. Unlike metal augers, the X-Float auger will not scratch or ding your boat.
Perfect for a Freestanding Dock System to Help Anchor and Stabilize
Ideally suited for sand, clay, mud or small stone lake or river bottoms. The tapered design fits both thick and thin wall 2" OD aluminum dock post. Simply drill a hole near the bottom of the dock post, insert the auger into the dock post and secure it using a standard 3/8" x 2-1/2" bolt and nut.
NOTE: Dock post, bolt and nut not included.
Fits 2" OD Aluminum Dock Post with a 1.725" ID or 1.790" ID
The auger is specifically designed to fit 2" OD aluminum dock post, either thick wall or thin wall with a of 1.725" or 1.790". Once attached to a pipe the auger can be twisted into sandy lake bottoms and will securely hold your dock or boat in place.

Husband wanted for when he built our dock at the lake. He said they screw into pond floor easily. Once the dock was finished, the dock felt very sturdy and secured.

I was relocating a dock. I cut the original posts of a 2 inch galvanized pipe, then drilled a pilot hole t the bottom to receive these augers. Threaded a nut and bolt, and got to work.They turned into the lake bed easily, and I had no problems.I have 2 extra just in case.
