This shredder is a replacement for home use. It’s larger than the previous and the perfect size for my use. I like the micro cut, the speed is good and I have never had a jam. I appreciate the noise level. It is so quiet! It is the best home shredder that I have owned.

I can't believe I would be so excited about something as mundane as a paper shredder, but this thing is wonderful. Sitting in front of a shredder to feed documents in a few sheets at a time is such a pain that I have accumulated quite a backlog of items to shred. Until now it has been easier to find additional storage space than to face the tedium. Within 3 hours of having this shredder I have made it through more shredding than in the previous year. I can't attest to the durability of this shredder since I have had it less than a day, but I am impressed with how quiet it is compared to my previous shredder and the ability to load an absurdly large stack of papers into it and walk away while it steadily works on them is amazing. The output is much more finely chopped than my previous shredder as well. I do think it is a bit slow when not using the document feeder so if the job includes a lot of irregular sized sheets that need to be hand-fed this may not be the best fit.

I have had it about 3 days now so maybe things will change, but I am really happy with it. I have already shredded 2 years worth of old paperwork. The biggest downfall is stapled paperwork. You cant have more then 2 maybe 3 sheets stapled together in order to keep the auto feed working so you have to sort out the larger packets of paper and manually feed them in.The noise level is amazing. You can barely tell its going and its about 2 feet from me. Its pretty easy to use, the biggest hurtle was to figure out that putting packets of stapled paper in the auto feed wont work.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. Does everything the company promised and does it very well. The ability to add as many as 100 pages and walk away while they shred is a game changer!

Can only handle around 5-8 pages at a time even it can shred credit cards. It’s definitely not worth the price. Purchased in October and didn’t use it until December and the first time I used it, it was fine. The second time I loaded about 25-50 pages in the auto feed (despite claiming it can handle 120) and it was making thunking noises and was not able to shred any of those papers. Ever since that one instance, any time it shreds (even 1 sheet of paper) it makes the loudest thunking noises ever. I tried everything and nothing will fix it. Over $200 for a shredded that can’t even handle 10 pages at a time OR 50 pages in autofeed ? Useless. I wish the price matched the quality, I was looking to invest a couple hundred dollars in printer with the idea it would last me years and work as it claimed. Do not purchase.

This machine is beautiful outside. Big size, heavy, easy to use, fast, already come assemble. Credit card just disappear in small pieces. Does not make much noise, I have made a test with closed add mail and was great, small folders with several page and worked fine. In 1 day several bags of mail was shredded. I have another shredder cheaper which make double noise and clogged easily, it doesn’t happened with this AURORA machine.
