This was a replacement for an old suntune tach that was no longer accurate. This tach dressed up the look I was looking for. Installation was pretty easy. For the price I would definitely recommend.

The best thing about this tach is longevity. Auto Meter has kept this basic design for this particular model for years. I had an older model of this tach, that made it into more than one vehicle over it's 20 year lifespan. They changed the mounting slightly, and used plastic for the mount( the old one was steel ), but it mounted clean and is surprisingly sturdy. Large face and numbers make it easy to see and it installs simple, Especially if you already have one. Mine is mounted into an 87 Chevy 4wd, that sees dirt quite often and gets shook around. No problems.
