I was always irritated that my Crown Vic didn't have a tach, as it's one of those gauges I feel like every car should have. I picked up this and a Blitz tachometer. Was very easy and straightforward to install. Took me an hour or so. Tach operates properly and smoothly, no problems whatsoeverWord to the wise: Definitely use the bullet style connectors, that way if you try to splice into the wrong wire (like me) you can put everything back to how it's supposed to be.

This one I purchased for a new project. I purchased my first one in 2006 and it has been in daily service since then. It's been over 15 years and it's still working.

Works great used it on my 05 crown vic nice easy install. Found YouTube much more helpful than the instructions though
