While switch speed is sometimes slow, it is not hampering it's function to switch from my desktop to laptop (and vice versa). It may be on a pricey side but it is worth your buck as it performs its function as intended.It is also easy to setup as the manual provided a very informational illustration on how to setup the KVM switch.Overall, it is an excellent device that solves my need on a home office setup.

I don't typically write reviews unless I'm extremely impressed or very upset. In this case, I was very happy with the KVM switch/dock and even more blown away by the customer service. I ordered the KVM on Wednesday and got it Friday. I was upset to find that after I hooked everything up, the power didn't work on the KVM. I immediately reached out to customer service Friday night, spoke to Johnny, and was very happy with the support. After explaining that I tested the outlet so I know it works, and everything was hooked up correctly, he immediately put in a request to have my KVM replaced. Johnny proactively followed up on Monday telling me my replacement was on its way. I received the replacement Wednesday morning and it works beautifully!! Thank you Johnny for the excellent support!This unit accomplishes exactly what I was hoping for. It's easy to set up, and allows me to dock my work laptop and connect my personal desktop at the same time. The quality is excellent, and I can switch between the two PC's with the click of a button. It switches fast, and I can use the same keyboard, mouse, monitors, etc. without having to unplug and plug things in anymore! To top it off, my laptop charges while I'm switched to the desktop. I would HIGHLY recommend this product if it fits your needs, would absolutely buy more products from this company because I know the quality is there, and just as importantly, they strive for 100% satisfaction!

Overall very good. Box feels very sturdy - cables fit securely. I have this mounted with plenty of room on 1RU shelf in equipment rack. Switching hot keys make sense and work reliably. Front buttons work as well. Switching is a tad slower than my old DVI kvm, but still executes within a few seconds. Video quality good - no glitching. Icons all stay in proper places when switching - EDID appears to work flawlessly. No issues with standard dell mouse & keyboard. USB camera with mic works fine - I did have to set up laptop to select correct mic (was a bit ambiguous).One of the primary reasons I chose this KVM was for the analog audio output. The audio is transmitted via USB from the sources (not through display port as I’d expected). It pops through the speakers when booting up laptop (which runs through docking station). Once source powered on there are no buzzes or pops. This is not so bad, but would be very annoying on a headset…The audio balance was off quite a bit from both sources. I ended up adjusting the left / right balance in the pc/laptop to account for this. Excellent Product. I initially bought a no-name KVM, and it doesn't work. The cheapest brand name is $400+, then I saw this. Had to use the supplied cable in order to work. After that, it is a breeze. My previous setup was a Targus dock connect to $20 KVM. It works only when the Mac is asleep otherwise I have to keep opening the cover and wiggle here and there. This unit does not have any of the problems, it just work. The only problem is the Ethernet only works on the Mac, my BeeLink SER5 does not recognize it, I have to use a separate switch for the Beelink.

This product seems well made and comes with all the necessary cabling. It worked fine initially, but by the 3 month mark, it was apparent the product reliability wasn't there. First the USB A ports started to flake out, causing the USB headset used for audio calls to get disconnected. (Of course, audio calls are work-only events.) Then the HDMI side started causing one or of the dual monitors to go blank at random times. As Murphy's law would dictate, this would always happen on the side of the switch used for the work laptop. I've given up on this device, and have replaced it with a bi-directional USB C 3.2 2 into 1 (also handles 1 into 2) switch to drive the monitors, and a 2 input USB A switching hub for the kbd., mouse, and headset. The USB C to dual HDMI outputs is handled by 1 of the 2 adapters I had already used between the 2 laptops and the HDMI sides of AV Access switch in the original setup. Cost of the replacement setup, Under $60 complete. Cost of the AV Access switch, $140 and it failed after 6 months. You decide where the value is there.

Only minor adjustment needed was getting a longer USB-C cable for my specific desk layout. If you need a reliable KVM switch for a high-resolution multi-device setup, this one's a perfect choice.

J'utilise ce KVM pour basculer entre mon PC gaming et le laptop du travail avec 2 écrans et une panoplie d'appareil usb (keyboard, mouse, headset, caméra). Le laptop est branché par USB-C et le PC par hdmi/dp et le basculement entre les 2 se fait très rapidement (1s/1.5s).L'appareil semble d'exellente qualité, en métal.Le seul problème que j'ai est le chargement du laptop est insuffisante à 100 watts, j'aurais besoin de 130 pour un Dell precision 3591 et je trouve ça un peu bizarre qu'une source d'alimentation supplémentaire USB-C doit être branchée au KVM pour le chargement par USB.

Arrived fast and works well. Helped me to really clean up my work from home setup so I didn't have to dismantle it every other day and also didn't need to clutter my desk with multiple peripherals. It is pricey but a very complex little device and is nicely made.I had a slight issue, or so I thought, where the monitor A output doesn't output from my desktop. However, Kevin from the AVAccess team helped me to understand that monitor B can function with either desktop input but monitor A requires both HDMI and DP cables from the desktop to be plugged in to function. This is something to be aware of if your desktop graphics card lacks both ports. For me, the simpler solution was to just use monitor B as I like to have my desktop DP plugged directly into the monitor for full performance when gaming.

Audio never works and Monitor flickers intermittently .Audio is detected as USB device and its very poor quality ,Audio input mic is very hard to trouble shoot .connecting MIC as USB creates new problems with windows.
