So far everything is running fine with this oil filter for my 17' 6.7L Powerstroke. I spoke to the company and they said this filters down to 8 micron at 99% efficiency which is practically unheard of. Can only take them at their word, however. Most filters will filter down to 20 micron at 99% efficiency. As long as there aren't any issues I'll keep using this filter.

This has superior filtration compared to OEM (Ford) filter. Tested oil samples twice with each brand. The Caterpillar SOS test lab reports confirm the Baldwin retains smaller particles. Have not tested the bypass, however the lab results indicate no difference in wear of lead in bearings or chromium in piston rings.

Never had metal fuzz in my drain plug until I used this filter…needless to say…I removed it and went back to oem.
