This unit was a perfect fit and works like new on my 2016 Infiniti QX60. Ordered another item that supposedly was a perfect fit for my car. Once I realized it was the wrong product (after I removed the old unit) I ordered this unit. Arrived the next day. I recommend you pull out the old one to get a visual on what the unit looks like before ordering. Watched an online video and realized this was super easy to swap out with a 1/4 turn twist and pull up. I was able to take out the old unit and put this unit in the car in about 2 mins. Found that it makes it a little easier if you depress the brake pedal to take the tension off of the button during installation. Note that there are two switches on your break pedal, one for the brake lights and one for the cruise control. This is for the brake lights.

When our 2015 Nissan Altima decided to throw in the towel and just wouldn't start, we were pretty much at our wit's end. After trying everything we could think of, including getting a new battery (which, by the way, did nothing), my husband went to good ole YouTube University and emerged convinced that the Beck/Arnley 201-2741 Stop Light Switch was the missing piece of the puzzle. Lo and behold, he orders this part, it arrives, and suddenly, it's like our car got a new lease on life. That little switch was the hero we didn't know we needed. Who knew such a small piece could make such a big difference? It was a perfect fit for our Nissan Altima, and the price made it even better. So far no issues since installing.

Not sure why, but this 'guaranteed to fit' does not fit. And it was late.

Did not fit 2017 Altima electrical connector - part assembly electrical connection receiver housing was too small - was same size as the electrical connector plug - electrical plug would not insert into part housing.
