I am very happy with this little keypad. I use it in my enclosed trailer and makes inverter control extremely easy. It comes with about 30 feet of cable and uses an RJ11 (old telephone) connectors as ends. They are pre tipped, so this is plug and play. Installation was very easy, just make sure you account for the connectors when drilling your holes to fish the wire.Display is bright and mimics the display on the inverter exactly. This unit will remotely power on and off your inverter, show current dc input and output as well as overload. Does not actually have any current running through it, so heat is not an issue. Operates silently and is built well. Overall this is an extremely nice little keypad and was worth the money I paid. Hope this review helps.

Hookup is straight forward. Unfortunately, although there is a power switch on the remote it will not shutdown the inverter. This means when it's squealing its head off about a low battery you cannot shut it off. So while it's squealing you can't stop it from killing an already low battery.I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS UNIT OR THE INVERTER ITSELF!

Outside of the mile long data cable I think this is a fine product I ordered it for the 1000 w version of your inverter ran the wire from my window in my motorhome I had to zip tie the wire cuz it was very long but it makes turning the inverter on a breeze I would highly recommend it it's not very much money it's very high quality made the frames metal spend the extra 20 hook it to your inverter you won't regret it

Die Fernbedienung wird mit einer Art Telekonkabel an den Wechselrichter angeschlossen. Sie ist dann quasi parallel geschaltet mit den Bedienelementen des Wechselrichters: Wenn der Schalter an der Fernbedienung _oder_ am Wechselrichter eingeschaltet ist, ist der Wechselrichter an. Beim Einschalten piepen sowohl Wechselrichter als auch Fernbedienung. Beide Displays sind an und zeigen das gleiche. Das nützliche daran ist, dass man immer noch den Wechselrichter direkt bedienen kann, auch wenn die Fernbedienung angeschlossen ist.Das Kabel ist 7 Meter lang und wirkt nicht sehr stabil. Es sollte so verlegt werden, dass es keiner mechanischen Belastung ausgesetzt ist. Es wirkt wie ein Massivleiter, bei dem mehrmaliges Biegen einen Kabelbruch verursachen würde. Auch die Ummantelung wirkt nicht besonders elastisch.Die Frontplatte der Fernbedienung ist deutlich größer als der Hinterteil. So kann in der Wand eine rechteckige Aussparung gesägt werden und die Frontplatte auf die Wand geschraubt werden, was für einen bündigen Abschluss sorgt. Zu beachten ist, dass das Kabel von unten in das Hinterteil gesteckt wird. Deswegen muss die Aussparung (zumindest an der Stelle des Kabels) nach unten größer sein als das Hinterteil. Es reicht aber ein Zentimeter oder so, danach kann das Kabel nach hinten gebogen werden. Die Frontplatte kann also trotzdem die gesamte Aussparung verdecken.Ich war erst skeptisch, ob der Preis für das bisschen Komfort wirklich gerechtfertigt ist. Letztendlich bin ich aber sehr zufrieden, da der Wechselrichter ja sehr nah an der Batterie montiert werden muss, ich ihn so aber dort bedienen kann, wo es gut zu erreichen und gut zu sehen ist.
