BENENO's Improvements of Manual Can Opener
Stable and Strong Magnet
We use strong magnetic suction magnet, and design the magnet base with four grooves to make the magnet more stable.
Bold Rivets
The fulcrum rivets are thickened, which is more wear-resistant and thus the can opener has a longer service life.
Double Clamp Steel Functional Head
New double-layer steel plate clamping design makes the engagement of the gears more accurate, and the can opener is not easy to deform.
Big Knob
The height and force-bearing surface of the knob are thickened, and the resistance when open cans is smaller, less effort.
Unrestricted Handle Angle
We put the lever fulcrum of the can opener at the top to make the handle and blade cutting angle more flexible, which allows you to open cans of different sizes.
Cleaning and Storage
The buckle hole on the handle saves space for storage. It is recommended to rinse with running water and dry immediately after use. Dishwasher cleaning is not recommended, detergent may cause some damage to the can opener.
TIPS
The positioning plate at the lower end of the can opener can help you find the correct position of the first opening. When opening, please place the positioning plate close to the wall of the can, so that your first incision is perpendicular to the wall of the can, making the following can open more smoothly.

This was much better than other manual can openers that I've had over the years. It worked well and was easy to use. Something happened with the handle and mechanism under normal operation where it lost all power. I ordered a replacement.

Anyone else notice how newer can openers seem to break all so easily after a few months of use, not to mention notoriously hard to operate, especially for someone with onset arthritis in his hands. Not only is this particular can opener as strong as you remember how Grandma's was back in the day, its also dishwasher safe. If you have your life suddenly change due to getting older, I recommend this particular brand, your arthritic hands will thank you. Cheers!

A can opener is a common item, but this can opener may be the best I’ve used. It grips the can well, cuts well and operates very smoothly.

I open a lot of canned foods. I have continually searched the shelves of Walmart, Target, and other retailers and each time the can opener did not work, I upped the price I paid, trying for a better opener. Every one of them would only partially pierce the metal. I'd have to run over the can three, four times to try to get it to fully cut. If there was any sort of dent in the lid, forget it! I read the other reviews on Amazon and narrowed it down to two choices. I rolled the dice on this one only because it had the addition of the magnet and the Oxo Good Grips model did not. This Beneno does easily cut through the can, though it doesn't always seem to complete that final cut. That is one of two reasons I only give it 4 stars. I also know that these openers can perform well at the beginning but quickly lose their cutting power so I want to see how this opener holds up to everyday use. The second reason is that I ordered a RED handled one (easier for me to find in the drawer) and they shipped a green one -- minor issue, I know, but I was still a bit disappointed.

Easy grip handles, incredible cutting blade - goes through cans like butter. Easy to hold and turn. Some newer cans have such thin can edges that my old opener would slip off the can making it difficult to open. Not this opener - worked like a charm. Even my wife how wonder why I was buy a new opener when we "already have one" commented: "wow is this new opener ever good"!

I am disappointed with this can opener. I was hopping quality and easier to use. My old Starfrit one was way simpler and better. I will most probably replace it.

I've only had it for a bit, and used it on two cans of various sizes but it seems to work beautifully. I like the colour too!

It works well, and the handle is comfortable to use. I have a neurological condition which makes my hands weak and painful and I can use the handle easily.I don't use the can opener a lot, so I don't know how well it will hold up. Time will tell. Nice purple.
