I haven't yet had the opportunity to put my new Ice Chopper to work (breaking ice on the driveway) but I'm already impressed with the quality of the tool and the "Made in the USA" sticker on it when it arrived. I don't mind paying more for products made in the USA but in this case I think I got a lot more quality for the price than I could have ever wanted.

Garbage. I didn't even use this tool once, it broke WHILE I WAS ORGANIZING MY STORAGE. Then since I was out of the Amazon Return period, I had to contact the manufacturer, who never responded to my communications. A complete waste of my money and time. This manufacturer has a chance to reach out to me and offer me a refund or a new tool that isn't defective. Otherwise, BUYER BEWARE, this review will stand as an indication of terrible product quality, backed by terrible customer service. Change my mind.

Seems to work really well. But could use some strengthening in the handle

I love this item. I purchased it to remove "bandit signs" -- the ugly commercial signs that people illegally affix to utility poles to advertise their businesses and religions. This tool is absolutely perfect for that purpose: it's long enough to reach the tallest signs, and the flat blade allows for dislodging the signs from the poles with ease.I've had this scraper less than a month, and I've already used it to remove dozens of bandit signs around my city (one of my new hobbies during COVID times). So far, there have only been two signs that I haven't yet been able to remove with this tool, but I didn't spend long trying, and I will be back.

This is advertised as "heavy duty". I am glad I found a Warehouse "deal"? of $18.83 because it appears to be perhaps a step above the sort of tool one would find at a Dollar Store. The red guard or sleeve around the base of the tool/top of the actual scraper part is plastic not metal, and they use a single staple securing it. It may (or may not) be considered a HD staple, but this does not speak of "heavy duty" in any other way.I did not get this tool for the busy body do-gooder who assumes that its his self-appointed enforcer to go around town and remove other people's posters from utility poles because they have nothing else to do with their life. I can see him with his mask of compliance on, with a full face shield and big goofy rubber gloves while he's out on patrol. See about getting a job with an HOA. They love self-appointed busy bodies that relish nosing in on, then turning neighbors in for minor infractions so a fine can be mailed to them. The weld appears to be sloppy as well and there is no edge at all on this alleged scraper; it's blunt edge. My use for this is basic and on occasion, so I guess I will keep it if it survives edging out an open, gravelly fire pit, but I can see why someone returned this on sight. Again, think maybe a step above the Dollar Store garden tool quality, which are basically something you might hand to a child.

It works very well for cleaning up mud after a rainstorm. It's lightweight, and sharp enough to do the job. Much less expensive than a floor scraper, too.
