Compressed coils with ease and patience , sturdy and strong for large coils. Safety brace and restraining collar for added security in clamping to spring coils. Brought these because they are durable and not thin metal or steel, great price and a carrying case. Worked perfectly

This spring compressor tool worked great to help install new struts on a 2012 Subaru Legacy. There was a small quality issue with one of the compressor tools. The leadscrew that is turned to compress the spring was slightly bent and would bind in the fully compressed position. I ordered a second tool and returned the first. The second one is straight and works great. Watch out for Chinese tools - you can get good tools but return anything that is less than perfect. It's the best way to show these manufacturer's that defects are unacceptable. This tool is pretty solid and a lot safer than the cheaper spring compressors out there. Overall I'm happy with it.

I used this to compress an XC90 front spring. They seem very stout and attach very securely to the spring. The secondary safety curved piece adds a lot of stability. I used 2 milwaukee 12v ratchets to drive the big screws and it worked very well. It didn't take a lot of force or time and the spring was safely compressed. Definitely glad I bought this tool!

I bought this item to help with changing the front shock/strut assembly on my 4x4 OHV. The tool worked perfectly and kept me safe while performing the task. The clamps are made from sturdy steel and gave me piece of mind since this was the first time I have changed struts. This tool gave me confidence to do my own maintenance and save me $500 in labor charges alone. It was a great investment that I can use over and over.

I've purchased a few different styles of coil compressors before. This was by far the bes tone I've bought and used. It's easy to set up, worry free about them slipping with integration lock ring. Highly recommend. Used them on a 2001 Toyota Sequoia 4WD.
