this is my second one purchased. I bought one to rest functionality and it works well so far. Both easy to key in code or use thumb and finger prints.I will use one for all the firearms I keep outside safe. Currently have one on a shotgun and on a pistol. Pins between faces allow position adjustment to get a good fit and it can be positioned so it does not interact with triggers in useRemoval needs practice and were and how you place firearm for access and how lock is anttached will effect what hands prints you want to use.But it is a great way to keep curiosity from becoming a dangerPrint screen has worked each time so far.

I was in the market, searching for a trigger lock for my rifle. A friend suggested that I look into trying out Ainiro. When I saw the price, I was really amazed by it. Not only does it have a strong lock, numeric code pad. It also features a biometric fingerprint unlock. Needless to say, I ordered it right away. The lock was shipped and received the very next day.Taking it out of the box, I immediately tried all the features. They all work flawlessly. The set up was very straightforward and simple, I tried to temper the setting which failed in preventing me. This is a good thing since you don’t want others to hack into the lock or reset the passcode.The price of this unit is equivalent to the $200 plus lock that are in the market but only at a fraction of the price. It is simple, sturdy and works wonderfully. That is all I can ask for!I will buy more in the future! This lock is a must have for all the right reasons. Well done Ainiro!

I received the bio-metric gun lock and was impressed by how well-constructed the unit is. Using a password, key , or bio-metric option is reassuring that the gun will stay "locked" and out of the wrong hands. The customer service is outstanding. I ordered multiple units, and one of the ones I received would not program correctly. Jeff in customer service was excellent in diagnosing the issue and sending out a new unit that worked flawlessly. My only suggestion is that the usage instructions should be more explicit about placing the unit on the trigger and the orientation of the locking pins to ensure that the slack is removed and the trigger is firmly isolated. It takes a little work to ensure the unit is positioned correctly. Overall the unit and customer service are very well done and outstanding.

I was looking for a gun lock I could open in a panic and that would be tamper or childproof.1. There are ways to inadvertently install this device so that it presses on the trigger when jiggled meaning that if the gun was unsafe it could fire while it is installed no I'm. Not child safe.2. The instructions say that it should be charged every 2 months to know that it can reliably open electronically. Not acceptable.3. The biometric component is not reliable.4. The device is also not reliable. Mine worked a few times but now is locked open permanently and I will be returning it.5. I don't think the three tumbler lock devices are child safe with only 999 possibilities to open them. I've decided to use a key lock gun box and to tape the key above the drawer inside where I know where it is and can access it quickly. There is no perfect solution.

Look... it works... eventually... typically the 3rd try. I love the concept, the finger print scanner takes a couple tries. It has also forgotten my code. But.. it does work. Another thing I don't like about it is it makes noise. If I'm trying to be discreet, it's not happening, it makes loud beeping noises.
