Very affordable, it's definitely better than nothing but it doesn't block out all light, just most of it. It's easy to use and I'm able to sleep before working night shift now. In my opinion these work better than traditional black out curtains that are in the same price range.

I work overnights and I need my bedroom to be as dark as possible. I live in Florida and it's also hot outside. Our room even with the ac on would still get warm. Because this not only is blackout it's got a thermal protection our room has been cooleer than the rest of the house. I'm thinking about getting this for my 2 spare bedrooms that we don't really use to keep cooling costs lower. I like how I can simply take it off because of the Velcro attachments that comes with. Seems like a high quality product that will save me money on cooling and pay for itself.

These are absolutely perfect for my son’s room! His room is pitch black now at all times of the day and I love that they just Velcro onto the window. No more big bulky curtains that still let light in. So easy to apply!

I've bought a few different "blackout" curtains and blinds and everything let's in more light than I'd like. I ended up resorting to garbage bags but I hated having to constantly fix the tape. These are a fraction of the price than other curtains or blinds and work amazingly!! You can't see out or in even a little bit which means no light is getting through! I've been using them for 5 months on 3 windows in my basement without issues. Easy to install and put up as well as take down. I put them up and remove them 5 days a week and it takes less than a minute. The material was very easy to cut down to size. I've taken two photos to try and show the effectiveness. In the darker photo I still have a light on because it was so dark without one you couldn't see anything in the photo, that's how great these are at blocking the light!I purchased black because I was thinking it would help with the blackout quality but if I were to purchase again I'd choose white so that I don't have the black velcro standing out on my white trim when not in use.

This was pretty easy to measure and cut out. I wasn’t 100% perfect in my cutting which shows in the photo but it does a good job blocking out light. A couple of the Velcro strips struggled to adhere to the window sill but it was a colder day when I installed. Overall will buy more to finish the windows in this room.(Photo of product on right to show light difference).

I installed this item on a skylight that was creating too much heat on the upper floor. The product is easy to measure and cut, and the velcro ties are good quality and hold the shade properly. You may want to iron it prior to installation since the folds are quite noticeable upon unpacking. The temperature level was reduced substantially following the installation. I recommend this item.

Good but a lot of wrinkles sue to the fact that it comes folded
