Easy install, perfect fit over my Ring doorbell camera and doesn't obstruct the camera view in any way. Has held up through a summer in the south, including a hurricane. Well made product and definitely worth the money.

I bought this mount after I realized that I could run my blink camera just off of batteries. I’m not exactly the most handy of individuals, and really didn’t want to worry about trying to wire it in to my existing doorbell. The set up made that totally possible. I will say, it does somehow give an odd halo, when viewing with the night vision. Still, I can tell pretty much everything that’s going on, and if the front door light is on, I have zero problem seeing anything any different then during the day. Highly recommend this product.

This was something I ordered to protect my new Blink doorbell camera. It was easy to mount, and the camera fits inside without any binding. The faceplate will not stay in place because the top of the faceplate won't stay on the ridge inside the mount. It seems as if the ridge is too far back. I left the faceplate off, and the mount protects the top and sides of the doorbell.

The plastic does degrade in our Canadian weather. The act of popping off the doorbell from the wall and replacing the batteries snapped all of the connectors effortlessly. I ordered a replacement back panel and I wanted to start off on the right foot.I got the idea for using this device. It fastens to the wall with the included screws or adhesive, I chose the screw route. The Blink fits inside, with the panel attached and covering the batteries. The front snaps in the moulded grooves, holding everything in place. When you need to change batteries, there is a release on the bottom that you can trigger using your finger. The whole Blink unit can then come off the wall out of this mount, leaving the mount in place. You can then bring it in the house to acclimatize before you pop the back plate off with the Blink doorbell removal key. The plastic is now not subjected to temperature related stress when you are putting the unit back together after changing the batteries. It takes the stress off the plastic latches and you can better visualize the connection holes, over trying to line it up on the wall and potentially breaking them off.All in all, I wish the Blink doorbells shipped with this type of enclosure. The plastic is moulded to allow for the bell to be rang, the mic to be uncovered, and the lens is covered slightly by a hood on the top. The strain of popping off the unit and reattaching it to the wall is mitigated. This will prolong the plastic pieces that connect the unit to the backplate. The mount also protects the Blink doorbell from the elements, which is excellent for our situation and how our doorbell is exposed to wind and cold.I recommend this unit based on the easy install, seemingly good manufacturing quality, and how it solved our issue without creating further issues.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Pro-This doorbell camera mount is good and solid-Con- It really messes up the nite vision capabilities of the camera! It’s the hooded feature over the top & sides camera! I filed mine down !, its better but not 100%,,,Stick with the original mount if you want nite vision!!
