Step 1: Find the OBDII port & plug the Boost AFM/DFM Disabler into the OBDII port, you can plug it in with the vehicle turned on or off
Step 2: Once the LED light has turned a solid green, the device is properly communicating with the vehicle and you are ready to drive!
Our device has very low power draw and can remain plugged in for weeks at a time without draining your battery, but if you don't plan on driving your vehicle for a while we would advise unplugging it.

I bought the Boost AFM/DFM disabler or my father's 2014 GMC Sierra Z71 5.3 L crew cab I chose this product because of the reviews and being 100% American made. This product is extremely good quality we installed it right away in my father's truck the results were immediate and there was a 100% Improvement all the way around with the performance of the truck the throttle response was immediate all kinds of power and the transmission shifted better than it ever did before he is extremely happy with this product if you want your Chevy or GMC to perform better motor wise and transmission wise and to prevent possible lifter failure I would recommend this product 100%. I definitely would recommend this product because when it switches from V4 mode to V8 mode the transmission could develop a shutter which it did in my father's truck we took it to a local transmission shop in my area and he told us one of the clutches in the torque converter was slipping a little bit and said it was more than likely due to the switching from V4 to V8 mode so we got the transmission flushed with new fluid installed and a new filter plus one quart of Lucas transmission fix to help with better lubrication or the transmission parts. Since installing the Boost afm/dfm disabler my father's truck is working perfectly motor runs great And transmission shifts Perfectly. I 100% RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I even told some of my co-workers about this product and Friends and they already purchased this product or are in the process of getting ready to purchase this device. It's cheaper than the range Technologies product but don't let that scare you about this boost afm/dfm disabler the quality is just as good and it does exactly what it says it will do.

This Boost DFM disabler works exactly as advertised. Also a feature that isn’t talked about is that it also disables the auto stop which I really like. I guess that’s all tied in with the DFM but I’m excited that it does. I’ve been using the device for about a week now and I absolutely love it. Throttle response is better, my truck idles smoother, and I can really tell a difference while towing in the throttle. I tow about 5000 pounds every day with my 22 Silverado. My fuel mileage has stayed the same. Pay no attention to the average in the picture because I stated before I tow a lot with my truck. But if you’ll look at the real time fuel economy, you’ll see that it was showing 21 MPG. That was at 65 down the highway with a strong headwind and no trailer. I didn’t like the way that it was gonna stick out past the dash so I bought an extension and it works well with it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to disable their DFM.

I put one of these on my 2019 GMC Siera with 32K miles on it hoping to get ahead of the lifter problems. The part was easy to install and has great videos from the manufacturer. I immediately noticed my truck sounded so much different! It has a Flowmaster 40 series muffler on it, and it now sounds like a real truck since its running off all 8 cylinders. Idling alone there is a huge difference. It really shows you the difference there is with your truck running off all 8 instead of constantly changing between 3-5 cylinders. This also disables the truck from shutting off at red lights etc.Get one for your truck and hopefully prolong your motors life by eliminating cylinder shut off causing oiling issues.

Love how simple and effective this device is! Quality is great. Throttle response is night and day, no more lagging shifts when you stomp on the pedal, and no more ticking while idling. Helps me post pone the AFM delete until I have the money. And the light on the device is so dim you can hardly tell it’s there. I bought an OBDII extender and zip tied it under my dash to hide it away and still have access to my OBDII port for diagnostic purposes if needed. Love the product! And MADE IN USA makes it even better!

I don't normally write a review unless it's a bad one, but this is an exception. My wife and I recently bought a 2017 GMC Yukon with high miles. Everyone at work told me I needed to buy a V4 disabler device. No one was using BOOST though. After researching online for a little bit, I decided to give them a try, mainly because they were made here. We had driven for a while already and achieved a 50 mile best mpg of 21.9 After installing the BOOST controller we did another run at 60mph cruise and hit over 23 mpg!! Save yout 5.3 or 6.0 , get V8 all the time power and improved fuel economy. Buy this.

Installed on my 2018 Chevy Tahoe about a week ago. So far better throttle response and smoother shifting. No more clunky feeling in the drive train. Really hated that. Now just push the throttle and the 5.3 comes to life the way a v8 should . Great purchase just plug it in and you’re golden. Made here in the US and you just unplug it when you take your rig in for service ðŸ‘ðŸ»

I like the fact that this module does what they say it does. Made in the USA. It’s cheaper than going to a mechanic and having them program your engine’s computer and it only took a few minutes to install.
